1.28 is released for ATS and ETS2!

Alongside the doubles and improved vehicle lights the former introduces TRIPLES (only in Nevada, as per real regulations), while in the latter the DAF trucks were slightly updated. They also received a cosmetic DLC.

A little late but the [URL="http://blog.scssoft.com/2017/11/euro-truck-simulator-2-update-130-open.html"]1.30 beta[/URL] has came out and with it is reworked northern Italy and the new Scania R and S trucks as well as some navigation reworks.

I bought ETS2 last night on sale and for some reason I'm strangely addicted.
How is ATS? For a 4 year newer game it seems to have a lack of content

well yeah theyve had a longer time to work on ETS than ATS so ETS will have more content atm
its basically the same game except different trucks and being in the US so if you want more truck sim its exactly that

New yacht cargo is looking fine. A bit pissed though because as I was pulling in Copenhagen I got swiped by a truck and took 5% damage on the cargo.

ETS2 and ATS are the best games for listening to podcasts, period. God himself can pry my Volvo FH from my cold, dead hands.

The game has more potential in the long run than ETS2, and the map is fantastic. It's made on a larger scale and is much higher quality than most of Europe (NM in particular!). It also has some unique features like truck scales or random events:

The big problem with ATS is the lack of trucks. You are pretty much stuck with the current 4 indefinitely, because the devs seem to have a very hard time when it comes to licensing (apart from Scania).
Mod-wise I think it only has slightly less stuff than ETS2, but a lot of it can be found outside the workshop.
