I hate how most upgrades have horrible downsides to them and it makes me not want to use any of em
The main theme is just badass.
How much replayability is there? And how long's the game on average?
Is the rest of the game's soundtrack as amazing as the menu / main theme?
Is the rest of the game's soundtrack as amazing as the menu / main theme?
Yeah it's pretty good.
I hate how most upgrades have horrible downsides to them and it makes me not want to use any of em
They look worse than they are
The enemies in this game have some real motivation to kill me. I blew out a yakuza guy's chest and his left arm and he still kept coming at me.
The enemies in this game have some real motivation to kill me. I blew out a yakuza guy's chest and his left arm and he still kept coming at me.
Wang is just that much of a dick.
I really love how well hidden some of the secrets are, and the crafty places they hide those money trophies. Humping closed doors, blocked off windows, and suspicious walls or jumping around in places you don't expect to be able to go to leads to a lot of good loot or neat Easter Eggs. Just found a Dwarf Fortress one: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/257095319847180211/DF7A00ACE24FE93C79C5A227CC7F80553C90F9C4/[/t]
hi i did a speedrun of ng+. in-game time is 34:42, 45:08 real world time. https://www.twitch.tv/beardyduck/v/95627907
19 hours in, and I've only just discovered that you can sprint.. double tap forward for those others that might not know.
19 hours in, and I've only just discovered that you can sprint.. double tap forward for those others that might not know.
But sprinting is useless compared to dash
But sprinting is useless compared to dash
Jump dash jump dash is the best way to become sonic.
Jump dash jump dash is the best way to become sonic.
Nah the best way to become Sonic is :Jump, Forward Thrust, Dash until Thrust is charged again
Jump dash jump dash is the best way to become sonic.
If you time it right, dashing first can actually make you faster.
Totalbiscuit's views on the game, kinda have to agree on some of his points like the bullet spongy enemies
[vid]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7939899/Images/gifs/Wang/thiskillsthe.webm[/vid] :v: I swear superiors and elites always picks the current element you've got on your weapon, not that it matters when I've got so much vurnerability to just chew through their resistance. (chainsaws fucking OP) Despite what TB calls bullet spongy enemies, I've got no problems with that. But I can understand how visually similar enemies having so much more health is outright bland as fuck.
i made this
The procedural generated maps really fucking suck. I've seen the similar areas scattered across different maps. Really offputting.
I don't think I agree with TB's notion of it being "unsalvageable". Anything can be salvaged if you put enough thought and effort into reworking it. Like maybe have procs be a common find on greens upwards, or have a lot more alt-fire gems at blue or upwards? Though either way, I'm not so hot on this anymore. Couldn't unseat Grim Dawn from its throne in my play-list, sadly.
While I definitely agree that the game is pretty flawed and gets a bit too grindy at points, it's hardly the disappointment of the year. I think No Man's Sky has already firmly taken that mantle.
my point is that you shouldn't have believed any of this when there was nothing to back it up.
...so your point is that if you literally disbelieved everything the developers themselves told you was in the game and on some points even showed you was in the game, then the game wouldn't have been disappointing?
if you actually followed no man's sky, used common sense, and didn't buy into the hype, no man's sky had nothing to disappoint and only brought the obvious. shadow warrior 2 is by far a bigger disappointment
But I haven't been let down by anything in this game so far. Everything is clicking for me so far. It's a pretty enjoyable game.
But I haven't been let down by anything in this game so far. Everything is clicking for me so far. It's a pretty enjoyable game.
and that's genuinely great. I didn't say it was going to be like that for everyone.
