Currently doing E6, probably will go back and try E5 before E7 but by god even on easy this is a nightmare slog
So many combined fleets are absolute murder on my buckets, not to mention how even with support expeditions I've yet to actually kill the boss

Tip for anyone who's been banging their head on E-6 like I have: Dive bombers and air support expeditions work a lot better than shelling against the boss, for no reason I can really speculate on. Went from struggling to get the boss to 50% during last-dances to the first time I tried bombers getting her to less than 20 health (but sadly not a kill)
Support air strike can totally cut a third of her bar off even with mediocre bombers and some fighters there to shred her mook's planes
Took all of my resources, all of my buckets, and almost all of my sanity
But it was all worth it

It's speculated that the Central Princess (E6, E7 boss) is U.S.N. BB-39 Arizona, sunk in Pearl Harbor by air raids. Would explain the severe weakness to planes.

I feel really stupid on both E6 and E7 for not looking up the mechanics while I was in bash-head-wall mode, because the thing for E6's boss-weakening was easy once explained, and I'm still amazed I managed to finish E5 in the last 4 days to get the last dance kill on E7
Real talk though, probably the hardest event they've had yet. Only thing that really comes close in my book was Midway, and that was only because of forced night battles
