I liked it a lot. Really enjoyed it. I could definitely see a sequel, it would be easy. More characters, more stories, some drama and make it longer.
It felt like the further into the story you got the days got shorter and shorter and I see what people mean by it ending abruptly but I thought it was a good amount of content and a decent note to end on.
I just wanted to see what happened after.
I'unno. I didn't really get that sense of completion from the end of the game, like you would most games. It legitimately feels like they ran out of funding and decided to rush an ending at the last moment.
It still disturbs me, because I enjoyed VA-11 a lot, but it feels like a TV show that gets cancelled halfway through the first season, in the way that nothing's really resolved. I'unno.
I feel that if you got all the character endings, the character arcs are resolved to satisfaction. The only one I wish I had more of was [sp] Anna, who just sort of floats about and will continue to do so I guess? [/sp]

The question is would the game outstay its welcome?
A part of me thinks some sort of animated series or something would work better than a game. I mean, shit. It's Cyberpunk Cheers/Happy Days, really.
It doesn't help that the country they live in (The devs that is) is so volatile, so that obviously impacted development somewhere.

i can safely say that the developers did listen to that tumblr blogpost, but not all of it. they do understand some parts of it but largely they have heard feedback for more important things and less nagging about representation.

So do you serve Sei a Bleeding Jane or what for Dorothy's ending? It says in the endings guide: "If Sei comes into the bar and asks for something that Jill questions (i.e. a Bleeding Jane), serve her something cold and non-alcoholic instead."
Someone in the Discord said you serve her a Bleeding Jane which conflicts with this.
I got the scene where you talk to her behind the bar if that's anything related to this.

Yeah I know. I'm still working on getting the dimensions of the apartment finished up. It'll either be a seasonal thing to replace the coffee table in the Winter or it will be set up in the bedroom. I'd still have conventional western style tables and chairs and stuff. I wouldn't want to give them up but the heated tables look comfy as fuck.
I got the sleepy Jill emote which is good enough for me. Wish there was some more new official artwork though.
Still thinking about this game even though I haven't gotten around to finishing my second playthrough yet.
Yeah, that emote and the city-scape steam theme are the main items I want, here's to hoping as time passes they get a bit more reasonably priced.
The Jill background is currently 27$
Thankfully the trading cards a little bit cheaper, but still pretty high.
