Well a few pages ago i was told off for accusing Blizzards servers of being shit (I only know this from WoW experience from the past 3 expansions)
If the open beta went fine, launch will be fine too. I doubt there will be more people than when it was free to play.

gonna work late tonight, and when I go home I'm gonna just work on organizing the house because it's all still a big maze of boxes from the move. Should just take the second half of tomorrow off (comcast window is like 1-3pm) and then take time to relax and play. Probably for the best anyways, even for blizzard and having dealt with nearly 10m beta testers (did we ever hear peak concurrency?), I expect servers to feel some pressure for the first few hours
With some luck I should be back from volunteer work in time to play.

Every single beta Overwatch has had, even the streamer-only phase, had a few login problems here and there. Servers are going to at least choke a bit on release, maybe not the same night as the release since a lot of people have work and whatnot, but within the next day I bet so.
The beta was mostly fine aside from a couple of times where you would be in the middle of a match then suddenly in the main menu with no warning
Over the week that only happened about 2-3 times though
i gotta convince the people that owe me money to give me at least $40 or i'm gonna go nuts

This thread has 78 pages in a week, halfway to close, the game isn't even out, and you say there is little hype.
Not including how fast the previous thread closed even after the beta ended.
I still don't see any hype, I haven't even seen that many avatars around like battleborn had
I'm kinda glad I'm only getting my copy tomorrow (hopefully?). Not sure I could have resisted the temptation of launching the game at 1AM :v:

Am I the only one who can't play this game for more than an hour without needing a break? I really like it, and even if I'm steam rolling and unbeatable, I feel like I can't play for more than an hour or so without just needing to take a break for a couple hours

I assume they are trustworthy? Tempted to get Origins but I don't want to pay 60 quid on battle.net. Even then it's 47 or so on that so it's an improvement.

personally i would have to say yes, i don't believe they have a reputation for bait+switch or not delivering on time at all
