They shouldn't have had the open beta for as long as they did. It gave people way too much experience with the game and there are players that just STOMP entire teams by themselves because they probably put in like 100+ hours during the beta.

But not everyone could run it at the time, or weren't able to play because they were doing something the week it was open, or a multitude of other reasons.
I'm just saying there's people who are brand new to the game since it got released that are probably having a bad time.

But there are also people who can't play at release and are going to get stomped in a week for the exact same reason. That always happens.
It'll all even out eventually, I've just noticed there's a HUGE skill gap right now and the game only just released.

I've opened four, and only one skin has come out. I've gotten almost exclusively voice lines, with the occasional spray thrown in.
I keep getting stuck in bugged 11 player skirmish games. Last spot doesn't fill, but leavers are instantly replaced.

True, but the people who got tons of time in the beta will have already moved up into higher levels and won't get matched with those players, is what I'm saying.

It's so Blizz can get experienced players immediately for the esports scene. There was a reason they asked a lot of TF2 streamers to their private playings.

It's like this with any shooter, you get the potato players match in with naturally good players on release when everyone starts out at the same level. It doesnt take playing the open beta to be able to shit on people who are just bad at videogames.
Overwatch doesnt really add anything "new" to the shooter formula, if you're good at these kinda games you're generally going to do a LOT better than those who arent or are just mediocre.
I think it's fine that you can buy loot boxes.
Micro transaction is fine as long as it only gives cosmetics

I wasn't able to play during the open beta, but already put time in today. I had other things to do during the beta, was waiting on the release. Didn't even know about the beta for a bit either.

Shoot the rockets at the people and make sure to fly about, dont ult randomly because in the air there's no cover

I just jump in the air a lot with her, get good angles on people when they don't expect it.
I keep losing connection to game server and it's pissing me off.
Every game so far I've had always has that one player you can never kill no matter how hard you try.
Call me an evil bastard, but I've been having a lot of fun with Widowmaker
