I learned yesterday that all the heroes that are in Battleborn save for the ones you start with and 2 in the campaign, have to be unlocked by completing matches. While I would assume Gearbox's reputation catching up with them probably has something to do with it not being popular, I would think that only having a few heroes to select when you start the game has something to do with it too.

Not personally. It's been pretty flawless network-wise, minus a few desync issues here and there.

I've opened about 25-30 boxes and got two Legendary skins for Symmetra, and one for the dwarf. I don't really play either of them.. But I can't complain since I've gotten a real sea of skins.
Also, Overwatch marks the longest I've played a game straight, 15 hours.

Welp, I've bought too many loot boxes already.
I don't mind the fact that you can buy loot boxes. It's really unobtrusive, and if people want to ruin the only sense of progression in this game aside from self-improvement and a pretty portrait outline that's on them.
Also, 12 loot crates in, I've gotten one skin. It's for Torbjorn and it's a recolor. Looks like my progression is going to take quite awhile :ohno:

Seems like people care more about the characters and lore over the actual game, which is probably why a lot of people are trash / complain about OP heroes
While we're on the complaint train about the boxes, I'm annoyed that the coin drops from duplicates you get are vastly less than the coin drop in the same tier. I know for a fact the pink quality items are 50 coins from a drop and 15 from a duplicate.
