best way to counter Roadhog?
McCree's flash, fan, roll, fan is a strong method of dealing with him. Reaper also does vast damage to Roadhog and if you ever get hooked, you can insta-wrath form away.
best way to counter Roadhog?
shoot him 600hp melts away pretty quickly when you're the biggest target in the game and can only kill people at shitting distance just don't let him heal
best way to counter Roadhog?
Reaper. Reaper against anything beefy, really. Roadhogs can hook you, sure, but if they're not top notch you can wraith form immediately and if they can't combo you, you can eat their beefy health pool in seconds. Reaper kills tanks. Reaper's life is tank destroyer. Trust me it's worth it. Or Zenyatta if you're a little bitch.
shoot him 600hp melts away pretty quickly when you're the biggest target in the game and can only kill people at shitting distance just don't let him heal
Even if Roadhog starts chugging Estus, Reaper can outdamage his heal. Melee after pressing reload to make the reload end faster; you also get a 50 damage melee attack. Roadhog can't survive a Reaper.
best way to counter Roadhog?
genji, tracer, lucio get close and circle strafe while you put on the hurt. alternatively: snipe him.
roadhog is fun
Mei as well, if it's a bad-ish Roadhog.
best way to counter Roadhog?
keep your distance and shoot at him a lot, even if you're not killing him you're filling your ult really fast with all those shots landing. Like the tip on getting McCree to waste a flashbang, baiting hooks can be done with a number of things, besides evasive strafing it's good to know it can't go through reinhardt's shield (but will go through dva's), can't hook through mei's ice wall or her personal ice block. That hook/shoot/punch combo will insta-kill a lot of squishier heroes so it's often best to just avoid him altogether when your health pool is lacking
Also key note: pressing reload and activating any of Reaper's abilities reloads your shotguns anyway. Always reload before Shadow Stepping or Wraith Forming, there's no downside. Also Wraith Form has an about 0.5s activation time during which you can still take damage.
Mei as well, if it's a bad-ish Roadhog.
I keep seeing your avatar thinking it was reminding me of something, both batman-ish but not exactly the joker reference he tends to be I think the joker'd robin might be it
every time you even try to suggest not picking someone stupid, every single response is "its a pub match, get over it". maybe i just dont like being spawncamped because genji is trying to snipe with stars instead of flanking and being a nuisance.
roadhog is fun
[t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/overwatch/images/a/a4/Roadhog_stitched.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20160210002858[/t] I unboxed this epic skin for him, a ending animation pose, and I'm thinking about buying one of his highlight poses since they're so incredible. I wish I could cosplay Roadhog but I don't have an ounce of fat on me.. maybe I should go on a burger diet.

I'm getting pretty sick of the game often saying "heheheheheh i hope u like falling" when I'm wallrunning with Lucio. And no, it's not me trying to run on the same surface twice, it just doesn't fucking attach.
Every time I read this thread I remember to be grateful that I'm level 20+ and I haven't solo queued once. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ifHDU9J.jpg[/t] We like to roll in style..
do none of you guys have work or anything you dont just get to level 20+ solo in 2 days unless you all jobless. Just unboxed 4 legendary's in 24 crates.
Same with wall climbing, what is and isn't climbable isn't very clear.
My favorite is when the game bugs out on the wall climb, dropping you from something you had to do rightthefucknow only to be stuck with a 2 second cooldown before you can climb again.
I have no idea how to use Genji's shurukens correctly. I have a very low accuracy with them because they move at such an awkward speed it's really hard to guess where the enemy will be, either they're too erratic to hit or they're too strong to risk peeking with Genji's extreme fragility. Dash is a decent mobility move and I've gotten a few extremely low health kills with it but it overall feels lackluster. Reflect is the main draw of Genji, I suppose, and I should likely be spamming that more often, but it feels like whenever I pull it out I always still get hit because bizarre hitreg, and when Genji has so little health already I don't know what to do. Genji is one of the heroes that I really want to get good with (Mostly because my first Legendary was Sparrow and it is likely my favorite Genji skin) but he really feels like an extremely 'all or nothing' character, where either you dominate a game with him or you do absolutely awfully. Any tips on how to make him more workable would be highly appreciated.

Yesterday I met a very good McCree and I couldn't stop him at any range. Any of you who know the game better know counter tactics?
counter to good McCree is to do the fetal position. Just roadhog and hook 1shot combo him back.

best way to counter Roadhog?
McCree's flash, fan, roll, fan is a strong method of dealing with him.
I'm getting some mixed signals here.

I love how your teammates specifically use different ultimate lines when compared to your enemies. It's such a smart design choice.
It's already bad when I see Genji on my team and just assume a 5v6 now :( Never seen one do good
I have no idea how to use Genji's shurukens correctly.
You're not expected to have absurd accuracy with them. Spam the alt-fire triplicate on moving targets, facehugging tanks, or otherwise. The M1 three-in-a-row is mostly for static targets, extreme range, or spamming at a blind corner. Genji shines in getting up close and using shotgun/melee/dash combos for nasty damage, as well as reflecting for temporary invulnerability to most damage. About the only thing I can never seem to get a grasp on with him is his Ultimate, of which I usually wind up just dying or slashing a tank 6 times to then die while using.
I'm getting some mixed signals here.
its more like McCree has no weakness
I'm getting some mixed signals here.
Roadhog isn't a solid counter to McCree, but hooking him can cause them to panic and spam a flash which isn't going to help him much if you just pulled him to an environmental kill or into your whole team. But being a giant schoolbus target, you're gonna die to any 'Cree that survives and spams Fan-Roll-Fan.
its more like McCree has no weakness
It's like Mei, he's absurd in 1 v 1, but absolutely falls apart with 2-3+ targets looking at him. The flash is a one-trick pony next to Mei's absurd and spammy cockblock moves.

Decided after a dozen or so AI matches that I'm ready to move on to the real deal, so I join a match and decide to wait and see what my allies pick before committing to a character: First goes Reaper Second goes McCree Third goes Reaper ... (After I chose Lucio, and another chose D.Va, the sixth also went Reaper)

What matters more is how much you hate yourself and can sacrifice sleep :v:
It's also summer break here so, good timing Blizzard. :v:
It's also summer break here so, good timing Blizzard. :v:
That's why big thanks for Blizzard, because they made Overwatch price at 2000 rubles (like 40$), so a lot of russian kids can't afford it because "duh, itz expesiv, better play TF2". :v:
