I have a lot of fun memories from the Beta of being hit by a Widowmaker shot or something of the sort and being forced to pull back due to low health, only for Soldier 76 to run up and heal me. It's such a welcome surprise to see a guy you expect to try and be a one-man-army actually come up and help out.
Anyone else get the vibe that Soldier 76 is some PTSD'd out vet. Like I expect him to shout "Omnics in the trees!" at any given time.

I was wondering why that didn't happen as well.
unnecessary maintenance and usage of servers when they'd need to be tweaking and testing things based on all the info they gathered during beta
plus it drives the hype sky high when people can't get their fix but know it's coming

'Soldier 76' wasn't his name before that. Sounds more like an alias he'd come up with to act as a merc/vigilante since everyone thinks he as a person is dead anyways. Even in the vid he makes a big note about how in the end he's just another soldier, a nameless face standing up for what's right, (and for justice/vengeance)((he is the night))

Out of curiosity, are there any characters you guys would like to see, but haven't seen in the story yet?
For example, I'd really like to see a character who is an Omnic Criminal. We hear a lot about the Omnic Crisis, but we've yet to see any Omnics who actually mean anyone any harm. Something classy preferably - we have enough bad guys who are lunatics of some sort, I'd like to see more of a Hans Gruber type character.
I was also hoping we'd get another "actual" Omnic, like Zenyatta.
Making him anti-human would be a good perspective too.

pubs don't feel any base sense of community nor are they partying up in discord and just having fun as a group
