the instant a half-decent mei unfreezes she throws an ice wall right between you or under her own feet because it's definitely recharged by the time she's out. Meanwhile you've spent a good spot of time staring at an ice cube instead of fighting other players or working the objectives. She may not have you frozen but she sure took you out of the fight, and it's more likely than not she'll get away before you can do anything to her
instead of thinking raw DPS vs DPS maybe consider her ability as a disruptor and how she played you like a fiddle even if you do end up killing her

don't engage Mei 1v1 at all then, that's one of her main strengths in the first place
all I'm saying is the Mei nerf talk is ridiculous, especially when people are complaining about losing to her as characters like Reaper who actually have a good matchup vs Mei, providing you don't miss half your shotgun shots

D.Va isn't actually part of Overwatch tho. She's part of MEKA which is a part of the South Korean Army.

You could have a game consisting of only one character and players would still only be as good as their opponents allowed them to be. This is one of the fundamental principles of strategy.
And I'd say Mei is versatile enough to handle herself. She has means of dealing decent damage from afar, she has means of dealing damage and immobilising opponents close-range, she has means of delaying teams both afar or close range and she has a means to self heal/prevent damage. If you as a Mei are relying on player ignorance, you're not playing her right.

A game consisting of only one character would come down purely to player skill and strategy, not really relevant to what I'm saying which is Mei as a character becomes more effective the less effective your opponents are at dealing with her. It's the same thing with Bastion.

hanzo's ulti actually has a severely low TTK towards tanks. as soon as you hear him yell, you just pack up and move to the side and go back. same with junkrat and his loud as fuck tire. scatter arrow doesnt work if you cant get a great shot.
