I had zero plans to buy Overwatch until the free weekend when I found out shittons of my friends, both online and irl, were playing it. A bunch of them pre-ordered it as soon as the weekend was over. Really didn't expect that many people I knew to be into it so I eventually got it myself.
I didn't know a thing about Overwatch until I was invited to a closed beta.
It may sound strange to some, but Heroes of the Storm genuinely killed my hype for Overwatch originally. It's a B-level game, with B-level gameplay, B-level art style, and B-level optimization. I thought to myself, meh, blizz dumping out a MOBA so that they have one. I thought it would be the same for Overwatch, just throwing a FPS game out there so that they have a foot in that genre.
Never did I dream it'd be so amazing.

I also only preordered it because I found the Origins Edition for $43.

I normally don't preorder games on the basis that I don't know how a game will play in an uncontrolled environment until it is released.
But with Overwatch I've already played the game myself and know for a fact that I enjoyed it - at that stage it's barely even a preorder any more.

She seems to be one of the least developed characters and the only thing going for her is the overdone l337 gamer girl thing. Like, she feels so unrelated to anything I don't get why she's even here.
A few heroes are like that but she seems to be the most empty out of all of them.

I have genuinely always thought of her as a joke character. Like the token character everyone is actually supposed to hate because they're so cringey.

I mostly enjoy Dva because of how unique and fun her abilities are. Visually she looks really goofy and almost out of place, but I suppose that's the charm of Overwatch.
Definitely one of my favorite characters gameplay-wise.

The Tracer statue is completely fixed now though. The replacements look flawless.

Yeah character wise she's pretty low there, but I like how she plays even if she is only good under certain circumstances. She does feel a little out of place, but hopefully if/when she appears in an animated short or a comic we'll get a little backstory on her other than "she was pro in SC2 and made a meka and shit".
