i find it funny that alot of discord chatbots are adding a -overwatch command that posts a current countdown timer
hearing a lot of speculation that there might be an announcement of a new hero on launch (with the soldier:76 short)

That's not to say they won't announce a future hero at launch.

Those are just two obvious ones.
Hanzo can one shot with his E or headshot. Soldier 76 can headshot + right click. Tracer stays out of range while constantly hitting Mei. Junkrat traps her, rein charges her, roadhog hooks her.

Although we won't be getting a new hero at launch, I do feel like we'll see Sombra in the 76 short.
I have no idea what they'd do with a support sniper though.
tag enemies to take damage/be seen through walls? I'm interested to see what they do with Sombra's abilities and ult.

Hanzo would require a lot of skill and luck to headshot a Mei without being killed so that's basically the same as Reaper as a counter. S76, she'd just pop the ice cube, heal and run. Tracer's guns do no damage at a range far enough away to avoid the freeze, what are you talking about? Junkrat, that'd require her to actually walk into the trap and even if she did, you'd then have to kill her quick enough to prevent her from using the ice cube as soon as the trap effect wears off, if she gets in that congrats she undoes all the damage you did and now your immobilise is on cooldown so you can't get her with it again. Rein, assuming you don't get shot to pieces mid charge that might work, hopefully her team aren't around to destroy you while you're vulnerable. Roadhog, hook and shotgun doesn't do enough damage to kill her, you'd need to melee too and by that time the stun's worn off and she pops ice cube, heals and runs.

The only thing I hate about getting frozen by mei is the fact she gets headshots. If they disabled that when you're frozen I'd probably not be as pissy but getting stopped/stunned and forced to watch a competent mei line up a free kill is the most frustrating thing because lady you did not deserve a free crit.

Eh, I call it cheesy on the basis that as McCree you can walk into a room, pop it and kill the enemy in there without them being able to do a thing about it. Even if you're terrible at McCree and get rekt whenever flashbang's on cooldown you can still get kills using it.
The Korean event definitely helped with pumping some Overwatch juice in my blood. Damn it was fun as hell to watch those guys play.
Now to (im)patiently wait until Monday night :(.
