I'm broke brained I guess because I liked Dragons but thought the writing was just as corny as 76's and the action while alright didn't leave any super lasting impressions.
I'm not saying Hero blew me off my feet or anything but felt in line with the others and just as entertaining. I also like 76 bashing some dudes head in with a pinata.

This kind of weirds me out. TF2 they have technology that respawns the mercs and the mercs themselves are unstable lunatics so sure whatever but here they get gunned down dead and pop back out and acknowledge it like "haha I totally died :D time to try again!"

You can still nail that tone with better writing though. They're not mutually exclusive. I don't dislike any of the shorts, but let's not act like they're perfect and can't be improved. A lot of the complaints are totally valid.

Eh, Omnics still aren't really "bad" or "good" just like humans aren't "bad" or "good" as a whole.
The whole reason why Omnics went ape shit is because they gained sentience and were being treated like tools.
To be fair we haven't seen any "bad" Omnic post-omnic crisis yet.
They've all been portrayed as good but mistreated.
Blizzards hesitance to kill anyone in these shorts really doesn't work well in the context of Soldier 76.
