Man that short was pretty damn good, the story was a bit obvious but the animations were amazing.

what I can gather from this is:
-Definitely widowmaker's pose and gun. Maybe her face given the light blue.
-Almost definitely someone else's cloak slapped on top of her. This guess is stronger knowing they use widowmaker as a test base if they aren't sure they want to spend resources making a character model yet.
-The cloak also resembles, save for coloration, the cloak in the concept portrait, with the thick high collar, but has a much lower drooping brow on the hood

it's almost definitely support if they haven't moved categories around. Portrait next to it appears to be lucio, portrait at the far end matches up with the light and dark spots on zenyatta's head, there's a big white splotch that could be mercy's hair/face, etc

Red circle is Widowmaker, Green circle is Lucio and then right next to Lucio in the blue circle is the unnamed hero.
Yes yes super pixels but you can still see specific colors from those characters.

There's something else I just noticed though, All of the categories are in alphabetical order, so it can't be Sombra unless that's not really her name otherwise she wouldn't be in front of Lucio. Athena maybe?

But to be honest, I can't really see her legs. It almost seems like as if she she had no legs at all. I think you can see the background of the city there. I only put there the outline on expectation.
I would prefer our first new couple heroes not be snipers. The salt is already strong with the 2 we have.

So, uh, how many of you are going to the Launch event thingies? I wasn't planning on going on the account of not realizing Finland even had any, but now that I'm aware PLUS I already have tickets that can be used to get into the showing I might be going cos the experience might be fun.

the 'waiting for team' text is kind of misleading (looked like an armor plated arm at first) but I figure this would shed some alternate light on the shape of the cloth anyways

It's not uncommon for developers to reuse animations and such in early stages of development.

I had envisioned this sniper to be like the Sydney Sleeper in TF2, to mark far off players for extra damage, thinking this would work more as a support player role than a defensive one. From my experience there's a lot of angry people when you play the piss rifle, so this would probably make it a lot worse.
But then I realized that was really just Zenyatta's thing but with more range.
