I wanna surprise people with a murderous Mercy Play of the Game. I'll find some condition where as a Mercy I just wipe out like four enemies including one showstopper. And then get two commendations for also having the most healing dealt while a Widowmaker gets nine for standing in one place the longest.
I'm still just gonna disappoint most of them most likely.

I once failed to get PotG with a res into triple kill. So, yeah, not gonna happen. She doesn't have the DPS and final blows don't count much into the formula. She'll only get it for a huge res.

But really, consists of former TF2 players and former Dota 2 players [like myself] and memes aside we're generally high level; Overwatch is my first game since Dota 2 that I'll be playing on a high competitive level.

Not necessarily. During the initial 30 hours it'll just be going crazy with pubs essentially leveling grinding to the max level to access ranked play (if the ranked play system is similar to some of Blizzard's other stuff). At the very least, during that time we'll have two spots open for facepunchers to just rotate through as folks drop in and out. As for future stuff, pretty much anyone from FP can play with us as long as we have spots open and you're a genuinely smart/good player who cares about improving, etc.
So what are ya'll going to do with your loot boxes? I'mma save the first ten or fifteen and then open them all at once.

I generally just opened them whenever it was convenient to do so, such as when I'm disconnected from a server after too many players leave.
On the subject of convenience though, I hope Blizzard make it more convenient to at very least equip different skins and the like. I don't mind not being able to do it mid match, but surely in between matches would be fine. It's better than forcing me to disconnect and reconnect.

i came 10 minutes late because i had to do something and all i got was an overwatch themed cup and those bam bams. i was thinking that maybe because i was late everyone else got the swag first, but now my disappointment has been confirmed. disappointing.

I'd like to get this game to play with my friends but all of my spending cash is on Steam. When the game comes out, would anyone be willing to gift be a standard game code in exchange for $40 worth of Steam products? You can save it as an I.O.U. if there's nothing you want right now, I suppose.
