I wish Rockstar could release the update now.
can't you just wait for 24 hours
Knowing the servers on day one of any update Make that 48-72 hours
Damn I was an idiot. I followed a CEO helping him with deliveries and stuff for a long time because he said he would split the payout. As soon as we finish delivering the stuff and selling the cargo, he ends up just giving me 1k and disconnecting. Feels bad man.

I got bored and decided to get some numbers on all the warehouse bullshit(might help some people). I probably fucked up in a lot of spots because I'm terrible at this kind of shit and it's early in the morning, but this is what I managed to get:
Office and Warehouse Cost: Office Base Cost - $1,000,000 Small Warehouse Price Range - $250,000 to $400,000 Medium Warehouse Price Range - $880,000 to $1,017,000 Large Warehouse Price Range - $1,900,000 to $3,500,000 Cost Information for Filling Warehouses: One Crate Shipments for Small - $32,000 Two Crate Shipments for Small - $64,000 Three Crate Shipments for Small(One Crate Shipment Added) - $92,000 One Crate Shipments for Medium - $84,000 Two Crate Shipments for Medium - $168,000 Three Crate Shipments for Medium - $252,000 One Crate Shipments for Large - $222,000 Two Crate Shipments for Large(One Crate Shipment Added) - $442,000 Three Crate Shipments for Large - $666,000 Base Profit: Small Base Sell Price(16 Crates) - $240,000 Medium Base Sell Price(42 Crates) $735,000 Large Base Sell Price(111 Crates) - $2,200,000 Adjusted Profit: Small Sell Profit(One Crate Shipments) - $208,000 Small Sell Profit(Two Crate Shipments) - $176,000 Small Sell Profit(Three Crate Shipments) - $148,000 Medium Sell Profit(One Crate Shipments) - $651,000 Medium Sell Profit(Two Crate Shipments) - $567,000 Medium Sell Profit(Three Crate Shipments) - $483,000 Large Sell Profit(One Crate Shipments) - $1,978,000 Large Sell Profit(Two Crate Shipments) - $1,758,000 Large Sell Profit(Three Crate Shipments) - $1,534,000
I honestly do not see how any of this shit is even worth doing. You're going to spend a shit load of time filling these warehouses, you have the risk to lose all or some of the crates in certain situations, and whoever is helping you gets shit pay.

How unexpected.
So the grind is still that, huh? A grind. I guess it makes sense.. they want to sell those shark cards after all.
Personally, I think the CEO stuff is the best way to get money as long as you're doing it in a solo public session. If you do headhunter in between every other delivery, you can keep the final profit pretty close to 2.2 million. Sure, it takes a while, but it's either that or try and get lucky by doing heists with randoms.
Problem with the CEO stuff is that it's absolutely dreadfully boring. They are over in like 2-10 minutes, then it's HH, then it's CEO stuff again, HH, CEO, HH, CEO, and it just keeps going and going. It's absolutely mind numbing and tedious as fuck.
I like the CEO missions because they're in the world and not in a separate server like normal missions or heists. Meaning other players spice things up a bit. Plus you do some pretty fucking awesome tacticool stuff. One time, me and my friends were retrieving a package from the altruist camp and we were pinned down super bad, all of a sudden, my third friend flys into view from below the cliff with an annihilator and completely wipes out the angry men trying to kill us, we grab the pacjage, bail into the back of the helicopter and fly off into the sunset. Another time we were doing haulage, I was in the technical escorting a truck when a jet flys super low overhead, we were in a canyon so he couldn't get a good shot on us. I put some fire down on him as he made pass after pass and shot him down just before he managed to do one last gun run on the truck. I love this fucking game sometimes. [editline]11th July 2016[/editline] Literally the best operator simulator on the market today
How do I make money with no money? Preferably without it being tedious grinding. I keep selling my cars every time I need more money but I'm running out.

Whatever happened to people even bothering to do contact missions to get money anymore? Like are they just shit or something? At least they have variety.
Whatever happened to people even bothering to do contact missions to get money anymore? Like are they just shit or something? At least they have variety.
They only give like 10 thousand. And when everything costs millions, tedium kicks in quickly.
Yo just do VIP work and Challenges, everyone gets paid, and you can chain them fast and simple, a constant flow of cash is fucking dope
Yo just do VIP work and Challenges, everyone gets paid, and you can chain them fast and simple, a constant flow of cash is fucking dope
Only the winner gets paid in challenges though. The losers get like 3k
Only the winner gets paid in challenges though. The losers get like 3k
Not necessarily, if you only do the Most Wanted challenge between work having everyone survive it, everyone gets 20k
Not necessarily, if you only do the Most Wanted challenge between work having everyone survive it, everyone gets 20k
There's actually a location where the cops can't get to you on Most Wanted, except via chopper. When I'm at my PC, I'll get a picture of it, but it's on the hill between the dam and the highway.
Not necessarily, if you only do the Most Wanted challenge between work having everyone survive it, everyone gets 20k
Still though, that's 10 minutes of just driving around.
Just bought a Reaper, fully upgraded it, painted everything Race Yellow, gave it yellow neon, custom/bulletproof tires, and the #2 spoiler (don't remember what it was called). It's times like this I'm glad I cheated my way to level 100+ and dropped myself a couple milion, because this thing is fucking fun to drive around. [editline]a[/editline] Also tried out powerplay, pretty interesting. Beast mode is the absolute fucking best powerup.
At least with contact missions there's a good number of them so you're not just doing the same thing over and over again.
Been trying to download GTA 5 for the new update but my new flat is giving me about 300-500kbs, it's been 2 days and I'm at 40gb of 65...
At least with contact missions there's a good number of them so you're not just doing the same thing over and over again.
Even those get boring pretty quickly though. I'd like more contact missions, but I feel like Rockstar is making everything more free mode focused nowadays. Contact missions have evolved into CEO/VIP work.

I once tried doing contact missions for money and ended up paying most of the payout in ammo
