Basically, the Brioso is the new best compact, the Trophy Truck and the Desert Raid are now the two best offroad vehicles, but you can use the BF400 in offroad races as well so that pretty much dominates them.

Nice to see the Gargoyle is pretty good, 5th in Motorcycles isn't amazing, but it's definitely pretty damn good.
Even though the BF400 is better than the Trophy Truck and Desert Raid, I still like them more, I mean they look badass and they also remind me of MotorStorm.
The Briosso is so hard to drive. If you turn too much, you spin out like crazy.
Yeah I hated using it on one of the Stunt tracks I played, it was awful, I kept sliding around the corners all the time and everytime I'd land after a jump it'd want to fishtail on me.
So, fun fact... I am too tall IRL to safely drive certain cars, like the GT40 and the Lancia Stratos. Even if I could afford them, I would not be able to physically cram myself into them.
Well apparently, even my GTAO character is just BARELY short enough to fit in the Tropos. To the point I'm not sure if they ever intended for you to see your own character while driving it.

There's like an inch total of combined head and knee clearance. Even in a video game that is goofy, I would shatter from a 15mph impact. :v:

The clipping isn't that bad. And I'm sure they couldn't do anything about it because the GTAO characters are tall and that's how tall people sat in that thing. Look at Clarkson with the civilian version:

Considering he and I are the same height, I wonder if the one the BBC got hold of for Clarkson to drive was a specially modified one. I know a handful where given deeper seats so taller people could fit.
The one I was allowed to sit in at a national car show a few years ago, I couldn't find any position where my head wasn't touching the roof.

this update is the most fun I've had racing in GTAO ever
Also I love the new cars. They all feel great to drive.
how is LCPDFR? if I own the Steam version of GTA IV is the installation a painless process? or do I have to downgrade the game and shit

It's weird playing GTA for long periods of time and no longer getting display driver errors.
am I going to be fine when running GTA IV on Windows 10?
I'm asking because I just bought the complete edition on Steam, and I'd rather not refund it.

I had to dick around with some settings and stuff for about an hour to get it working, but yeah it works fine.
This is hands down my favorite update so far. I never thought I'd be playing discount Trackmania in GTA but here we are, and it's glorious.
The new cars are fantastic as well, the designs and how they feel are the sort of stuff I've wanted since the first trailer for the game itself.
More of this please. Much, much more of this.

been such a long time since i've played GTA:O, gonna try some cunning stunts with whatever shitty vehicles i have lol, not even played the past 2 updates either
I would be having a lot more fun with this update if matchmaking wasn't busted. I've had the game randomly kick me from lobbies I own after a race, I've had random disconnections in the lobby menus, and it's just difficult overall to join games with your friends. :(

They all think going fast = win, when most of the time that just means they go plowing into a wall or off a ramp to their death.

Ever since this update launched, I keep getting randomly disconnected from crew-only sessions. Regular lobbies and free roam work just fine, but the moment I join a crew session with FAPS, I keep getting kicked out every five or ten minutes.

I fucking hate racing with custom vehicles, so I keep hosting lobbies so I can turn it off. Every time without fail after the first race someone else has magically become the host for some reason and changed all the rules. I don't understand it and it's so fucking annoying, especially since you can't just search for races without custom vehicles enabled.

oh and there's an option in the start menu somewhere online where you can change a toggle which basically passes the host to another player once you play a game in the lobby - have no idea why it's there and why it's on for you.

my downloads of it get to around 50mb to right under 54.57mb before the Social Club launcher simply crashes, [url=http://i.imgur.com/7ZSgQ81.png]with a generic "stopped working" message.[/url]
all I did that I think might have caused this, is renaming my GTA IV installation's paul.dll to "paulismean.dll", but that's deleted now with the rest of the game, and then there's the most recent ScriptHook I installed (1.0.791.2), which I moved out of its installation folder to a folder on my desktop.[/del]
I fixed this by manually downloading [url=https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200146066-Manual-Link-to-Social-Club-Application-Download]new versions of the launcher and Social Club from Rockstar.[/url]
