Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V10 - Single Player DLC When?

I feel like I should get back into the game. How frequent and populated have PC crew sessions been? And what are they using for voice chat now?
Then why make a post about bein a dick
I think educated people call that "sarcasm". Incredible, isn't it?
I think educated people call that "sarcasm". Incredible, isn't it?
pretty fuckin weak sarcasm
I feel threatened by certain things:
- A player from across the map drove all the way to the clothing store I'm currently trying my clothes at. If there were other clothing stores in the way and the player is driving very fast just to my location. Unless they're a crew member or a friend, I have the right to shoot first. (Actually, I just plant a Proximity Grenade in front of the store, I don't like using guns).
- Players approaching to me in jets, buzzards or any military vehicle.
Honestly, this is just common sense. Military vehicles in GTA are overpowered as fuck, nobody wants to take the risk of being killed.
- Two or more players in a car.
Everytime I see two or more randoms in a car, they are always dickheads who go around killing other players.
I usually avoid them, but if they seem to follow me I build a barricade. Basically, go into a parking garage or a narrow road, plant proximity mines, then park my car to block the road (that way they can't avoid the explosion, plus my car can survive the explosion), then I hole up in a corner with the Assault Shotgun or the RPG.
- Mexicans (other Mexicans understand it)
- Rat children
- Armored Kuruma
- Lime Colors
- People who dress like this:

- "Are you a girl?" "Can we group chat?" "Hey shortie" "You look pretty :)"
These people always end up being control freaks who tell me what to do and what to wear, I'm probably the only person who is mentally ill enough to follow their orders.
I just try to avoid fighting, because I know that if I try to have a legit gun fight, they'll just use their RPG over and over like a pussy, and message me "lol u suck. delete ur game."
if i ever feel threatened i just drive away.

The fact that you even consider being around people like that makes me doubt your intentions
Seriously anyone who would have this happen would just go away
The fact that you know what they want to do shows you've actually shown interest in these individuals before

Why would you even do this? Especially since you seem to complain about it on one hand and on the other you still keep it up.
I don't understand the point in sharing songs on social club. "Hey, check out this song that you've probably heard many times already."
I don't understand the point in sharing songs on social club. "Hey, check out this song that you've probably heard many times already."
I only ever did it if I was in the middle of something to take down a song's name and I wanted to listen to it later. Found it useful for that.
I only did it once, so I could finally look up gaslamp killer after hearing it like a dozen times, and forgetting its name after each time I closed the game
So are we done for DLC? I was hoping that whole Biker DLC rumor was true, maybe leading to DLC fleshing out the different type of gang "types" you can choose for your clan.
Anyways I don't frequently post in this thread, but I lurk and read it a lot. Why does Nikolai insist on saying edgy/asshole tier shit, then backtrack...?
Its consistent posting behavior, really weird.

It's the same reason I have for grinding contact missions.
It's painfully amusing. Once you get used to do tedious things, you realize there can't be anything worse than that (and if there is you should probably try it).
It just feels good.

The game is not funny if I can't kill potential bad guys and feel like I'm a good guy.

Really hoping for a cutscene-quality DLC again, someone mentioned a few pages ago that there are signs of update files being prepped so I'd keep my fingers crossed. Then again, biker stuff is all a rumor so it could just be more fucking adversary modes :suicide:
Btw, it's GTA V's 3rd birthday soon, so they could announce something then.
The game is not funny if I can't kill potential bad guys and feel like I'm a good guy.
What are you, some bloody superhero? :v
The game is not funny if I can't kill potential bad guys and feel like I'm a good guy.
Shoot first, ask questions later. Potential "bad" guys must always be bad guys.
Am I an asshole?
To be fair, a majority of PS4 players are garbage people and deserve to be killed. I'm sure PC has a better player base.
What are you, some bloody superhero? :v
Superheroes don't kill "potential" bad guys.
Superheroes don't kill "potential" bad guys.
It's all healthy roleplay.
My character is a villain at the eyes of everyone, but she sees herself as a superhero.
Way before she met Lamar and moved to LS, she got kidnapped by a criminal organization in LC, 3 years later she gets rescued by a police team. She is given a large compensation so she could get help and try to fix the damage that was caused to her, however she didn't want to get help
She wanted to use her money to help more people like her, stop the bad guys and save the day. She has good intentions right? So she started making her own private armory and even bought a Yacht as her HQ and now she goes across Los Santos hunting down criminals and protecting people.
The problem is her siege mentality, she believes there is evil out there trying to get her when in reality not many people acknowledge jer existance until she shoots first. It doesn't end there, she believes in "bringing the fight to 'em first" which leads to her leaving the safety if the suburbs and go into ghetto-ish areas to serve as an "Enforcer" when in reality nobody really knows about her other than as the crazy girl who shoots meth addicts and low tier gang members.
It's like some kind of street vigilante who hurts sketchy people just so they can satisfy their justice fantasies.
The Yacht crew, the captain, her mechanic and her assistant are all aware of her insanity but decide not to do anything because 1) She pays them 2) They are aware they are the only friends she has.
It's fucked up superhero
gtaforums would love you
I got bored while playing and made up a story about my character too, but I literally do nothing with it other than occasionally go, "Ohh yeah, that's a thing." like once every six months. I never have actually mentioned it to anyone before now. It was just a series of thoughts one day.
Why is the idea of giving the duster a crappy machinegun or the option for the copilot to be able to use guns get shot down faster than a savage on a pub server under the claim of "buh 2 cod liek!" but the idea of a relatively cheap "any rank" lock on to everything rocket launcher or planes/choppers with explosive miniguns is accepted as perfect?
gtaforums would love you
This story lacks enough over the top movie references and edgy character development to belong in a place like GTA Forums.
Most characters I see in GTA Forums are generic ex criminals or Carl Johnson's interdimensional lost children.
*superhero roleplay story*
Because people are stupid and think that once a popular game has introduced a new gimmick, the rest of the games who have said feature are just copying it.
Imagine if Activision ever released a Call of Duty game about police and criminals, even if the game was legit fun on its own and had some nice features, people will still bitch about it and whine because CoD "has always been about war" and they will also mention how "CoD is trying to copy Battlefield Hardline".
If Rockstar introduced a biplane with a machinegun there will be a group of people complaining because those people lack imagination and logic. "A criminal would never fly a WWII plane", yet, it completely makes sense for a criminal to fly a fighter jet, let alone break into a military base.
They would also mention how "Rockstar is trying to copy Battlefield 1 and the combat planes!!!11".
And to put the cherry on top.
Everyone who abuses the Hydra/Armed aircraft will ALWAYS defend it no matter what.
People who defend the HR do it with the excuse that "it's used to counter the Hydra", yet, most HRs are used to bring down people flying weaponless aircraft.
People who defend the jets do it with the excuse that "It's easy to stop a jet", yet, they never mention how easy is for them to spawn another jet right away and how the Hydra and every explosive ammo vehicle can fire unlimited rounds without cooldown.
Trying to argue with those people is pointless. You'd better ignore those people.

It's not really a superhero though.
If it looked like a superhero then it's probably a mistake because I ain't exactly a professional writer, I'm not even a good story writer, it was something I made up in like 3 minutes.
It's just some shit I use to RP because I'm bored, that's why I kill other players. You guys act as if I killed low level, lonely, innocent players and if I was big bad and I just pubstomped sessions with an Hydra. You guys never assume that most sessions I'm put with people who have billions, are like 300 levels above me and play all in large groups and always kill on sight.
I've never bothered a player that didn't do anything to me first, anyone that has played with me knows that.
The furthest I go with "RP" is rob a couple stores with a bag on my head. Or play as a drunk detective that never stops drinking.
You always got something to do when you pass out and wake up in a new area.
I'm not being serious. I'm actually a friendly guy
You'll have to forgive us for assuming you were being serious when
I was doing some deliveries and after I completed a sale this one level 30 guy sent the mercs after me.
The mercs didn't kill me but I felt so mad, I got into my hydra and destroyed that guy. I killed him like 10 times and then destroyed his cargo.

Is it bad if I kill other players during Criminal Damage?
I was winning with over $3,000,000 while everyone else was at like 300K and then I saw a guy trying to get in an Hydra. I didn't want to risk losing 1st place so I blew him and his Hydra right before he could take off.
Guy spawned a Buzzard and I had to kill him again. There was some level 50 who looked suspicious, I didn't want to risk being killed by a homing rocket so I killed him too. At that point I started to build paranoia so I began killing everyone close to me. (Including a guy robbing a store and two people in a brickade).
I won 1st place and got $70,000. A bunch of people tried to go after me but I hopped into Passive Mode and went into my luxury Yacht.

I mean, it's people's fault for being scary in first place. I never go off my way to kill anyone, I kill them because they get too close to me and there is no possible way for me to know wether they're going to try to hurt me or not.
I kill them over and over and destroy their cargo because that's enough to win the imaginary war that exists withing my head.
If they get a lucky kill or blow up one of my crates, that means so little when I got 10 more kills on them and I made them lose over $200,000 in cargo.
you being serious about being a dick is a more common occurrence than not.
I don't understand the point in sharing songs on social club. "Hey, check out this song that you've probably heard many times already."
sometimes I share it so I can find the name of the song later but 95% of the time it's an accident

Jesus, the only story I've ever given my character is basically "He decided to stop being a NEET" and thats that.
