Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V10 - Single Player DLC When? - Games

May I repeat, aside from weapons and a grand total of two or three specific vehicles, nothing expensive enough to warrant a shark card purchase will give you any meaningful gameplay advantage. Outside of the armored Kuruma, the Savage, and maybe the Hydra, it's all just raw consumerist want. Even when it comes to racing, there is always a cheap option that can easily win in skilled hands. Following the current outcry I foresee them either backpedaling away from that, or altering vehicle stats to make it true.

I've only seen two other people with that dumb gold jet though. Most people are smart enough to just avoid it. There's plenty of other stuff to buy in GTA Online that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Plus, if you do a bunch of heists with friends, you can make plenty of cash easily. Hell, I made about 2 million in the last week just by joining heists with randoms and doing VIP work on my own.

I dont regret buying it because i had the money back then. I regret the Yacht more. Wish i could sell it for atleast 30% or so.

I have the gold Luxor and a number of other things only thanks to some kind HackerBux dealers (and then my own shekel spawning before I got snitch-banned for trainer use on July 1st v:v:v). It's the only time I have ever cheated (or been banned) in an online game, and I feel totally justified in having done it. I don't cheat in anything else, but no regrets here (and R* didn't reset my second character's $23mil when they wiped my main's money lmao). Seems like it'd be handy as an isolated retreat and a distant spawnpoint, to avoid a lot of the chaos when joining a session. There aren't many places you can get that spawn you within thirty seconds' walking distance of a heli. I can't think of any off the top of my head.

The yacht is better than the gold jet, and it's a bit cheaper too. You get an expensive boat and helicopter for free too (assuming you didn't buy them separately)

I never had a Problem there. Only thing that sucks is that your Car spawns kinda far away when you do a heist.

Drop Zone very quickly turns into who can get to the ground quickest without dying on impact.

Although it's not 30 seconds, you can still get there quite quickly by car.

So... I think I understand what happened with the RS and 900R. Notice they have an extra transmission option? "Super Transmission"? It doesn't even visibly increase performance if you have the one above it. My theory is that it was supposed to work like this: Upgrade to RS or 900R, it's still in Sports, but add super transmission and it gets reclassified to Super. Makes sense right? If that is indeed the case, perhaps the fact they're supers by default is a bug.

And the Sultan still has a - 1 off road modifier so the kurumura will beat it in an off road race.

However I still think the super transmission reduces the top speed over the race, I haven't been able to confirm this though.

I wish GTA:O had some sort of livery editor, i wanna make a crazy Time-Attack/Hillclimb Sultan RS, the Bubblegum livery has to do for now i guess :v:. I also love how the front wheels are further out on the Banshee 900R than the rear ones, all in all i really like the 2 "new" cars.

Higher drag (to a point) makes a car easier to keep stable in a drift. Look at the Futo, which behaves like it does because of high drive force, low traction and high drag combined. Banshee 900R is high drive force, high traction and high drag, so it's harder to throw the back out unintentionally, but it's easier to keep it stable once that happens.

I really want to know how to drift. For me drifting is just when I use the handbrake when I'm about to take a curve and then I end up with my car spinning and crashing into everything which results in me losing or being killed somehow.

Ever since I got the Sultan RS, I've always been drifting. Any time I drive someone to Ammunation or something, I always powerslide into the parking space to look cool. :cool:
