so i reinstalled my texture filtering is set to like 16x and everything still looks godawful and blurry as if i didn't have it enabled, anyone know how to combat this? also, what's the best/quickest way to make legit cash online? i used to do races but online is so weird and difficult to get re-used to :v:

Only real solution is to force it in your drivers which does work.

Set shader quality to high or very high, and run in at least DX10.1. For some reason at normal shader quality and in DX10, anisotropic filtering doesn't appear to work at all.

On the two machines I have that can play it at that quality, the AF does absolutely nothing.

Strange. What's your GPU make? I've compared screenshots from my GeForce GTX 860m and was definitely able to notice a visible difference between 0x and 16x. Not as much of one as there was between 0x and 16x driver-enforced with a few other optimizations disabled, but still a difference.

If you haven't already, get the Loyalty, All In Order, and Criminal Mastermind challenges done as soon as possible. If heists aren't your thing, VIP work or contact missions can be a decent choice. VIP work tends to only be fun in public sessions though and contact missions will get boring after a while thanks to Rockstar not giving a shit about them. Other than those, the normal PvP modes can net you an okay amount of cash, but that relies on actually finding enough players which can be tricky at times. Also, regularly doing your daily objectives and attempting freemode events will give you a bit of cash on the side.

What do you guys reckon is the best way to go about Mastermind challenge? Heavy Combat suits? I mean, yeah, you are gonna pretty much go through heists on snail's pace but unless you are an absolute retard with a brain size of a peanut, it pretty much guarantees you a successful run. I actually did something like a minmax run where me and few of my pals played through PS with all of them wearing HC suits and kept going in front and behind me, soaking up the most damage while I just wore normal stuff and sprinted from cover to cover.

Everyone I play with uses the heavy combat vest for heists, but I'd rather not sacrifice one of my outfit slots for it, I think it looks ugly and out of place.

Depending on when you're playing I can drop in and help.[/QUOTE] Well we managed to get our 4th guy back yesterday to do the heist, it took a couple of tries because of headshots not killing people for some reason but we managed to get it done. I wish I didn't have to host though, I could use the extra money from the setups but none of the rest of them have done all the heists. Plus I give them a 20% cut every time we play. Maybe I should stop that since they get the setup money as well.

You can ignore that one guy who's not directly in your way and can't see you. The guy going in has to own silenced precise automatic rifle (I think the game automatically gives you a silenced Special Carbine so you should be good to go), decent shot and have quick reactions (it ultimately sounds harder than it actually is, trust me :v:) and he should have no problem. At least that's how I usually did it with pubs, when I managed to make them listen/understand me. I am playing on PC though so on controller it might be to go better in pairs in which case, the post I am quoting is the way to go. Also if you are not feeling up for it, you can just let the guy in the Insurgent pass through, just make sure everyone's hidden from his sight.

Due to the heist cost for you and the money they make. If they haven't been their for the setups they'll probably complain if they don't get at least 20% though.

The way I used to do it with randoms was an even 25% each, but three strikes (obvious player-made mistakes) and everyone gets booted in favor of a better crew. High stakes like that are surprisingly effective at cutting the bullshit and getting everyone serious. I'd rather trade some payout for faster results than struggle for hours.

That said, we made a few hundred thousand each, we all had fun. It's much better just doing this stuff with friends.

Well I [B]WAS[/B] saving money until it got reset for absolutely no reason. I haven't had hackerbux in months, and even then that got reset. At least some versus missions are okay to play, so I'll have to save back up, again.

So, i just tried a glitch how to get into the police station, and it worked. And it's pretty cool. [img]http://i.imgur.com/MVdH9Kg.jpg[/img] But there are so many questions, like why do they still appear these buildings shutted? What is the purpose? why they are not open? Perhaps upcoming DLC? It has been a long time since launch, and R* still can't even do such simple thing for online. I already hear complaints from others from the last recent rhino hunt mode. When are we going to get a proper update? Like "All interior entrances from buildings are unlocked" in Los Santos. Or unlocking these rare vehicles like the tow truck, or rare police vehicles like the police bike? That is something i call an update. It feels like they are careful about it and don't want to spit it out or something. I'am still waiting for atleast an good update, and no, not just new cars or new clothes or new guns. I want something fresh, and R* hasn't done this from all these updates. The only thing that i see a bit fresh was the free roam missions. But that is it.

I make a thread saying that my account may have been compromised due to the ban coming for no reason and fucking everyone that responds is making it a witch hunt, digging up my stats and character (which give me further evidence that my account has been compromised), as well as blaming me for letting my account (possibly) be compromised. I even said that in the past I have recieved cheated money but have already been punished for that. I'm not hiding the fact that in the past I have received it, but action has already been taken on my account for it. This ban was out of the blue, when I hadn't even played for a week, and a month before that.

There's a slight chance a heavily modified vehicle (sometimes rare ones like zentornos) will spawn.

Double cash and RP on sitting in an half full lobby waiting for $10,000 after being shot by dickheads for 3 rounds. All adversary modes suck unless you play with people you know or everyone is decent at the game.
