Oh god, looks like script kiddies can now drain your cash by using the insurance fraud. Source here: http://www.gta5cheats.com/gta-online-hackers-can-now-steal-cash/ This is going to a big problem. I guess gta online was fun while it lasted.
This is what it looks like zoomed in with the video editor [t]http://i.imgur.com/Rb9DAAB.png[/t] [sp]kraken?[/sp]
this is giving me GTA SA 2007 YouTube vibes
this is giving me GTA SA 2007 YouTube vibes
That's actually the kind of video I was making too
Spooky.
I was making a video underwater yesterday and I found something strange. Wondering if this is something common but I can't find anything on google. [t]http://i.imgur.com/yK9F4Jo.png[/t] Found near The Abyss, 2 dots in the distance. While I was recording I thought they were particles but in the video editor I noticed that they're not particles at all (atleast I think). This is what it looks like zoomed in with the video editor [t]http://i.imgur.com/Rb9DAAB.png[/t] [sp]kraken?[/sp]
Kinda looks like the UFO
That's actually the kind of video I was making too
Remember to put the X-Files theme on the video
Remember to put the X-Files theme on the video
Too late I already finished it. Here's the classic though
Kinda looks like the UFO
Does the UFO actually emit light though? Plus i'm pretty sure that thing in the picture was way too high to be on the bottom
http://www.gta5cheats.com/gta-online-hackers-can-now-steal-cash/ also gives you bad sport here it is in action: :dogwow:
So I just got GTAO. Most games are empty and I am bored, also dming against level 50s as level 5 isn't great. Any advice how to actually have fun in online?
gta online is just a lost cause (until rockstar fixes their shit up), really. you should check out some mods for single player, its def way more fun than online
Haha what, the most populair GTA V hacking tool is called 'NiggerMenu'. Besides moneyhacks and the like, it shows a list of online players and ways to torment them. This is what it looks like from the POV of the hacker.
I just spent about 1 million on the banshee 900r. Overall i guess it was worth grinding hard for like 3 weeks. It looks similar to this:
Definitely stay away from GTA Online for now if you're playing on PC. As previously stated, a certain mod menu has a new ability to drain your cash by spawning a luxor deluxe, flagging it as the menu user's personal vehicle, then immediately destroying it under a player's name, charging the victim almost $100,000 each time and putting them in the bad sport lobby after a few times. There is no known way to avoid this other than immediately disconnecting, but you will still lose any money you were charged because of this, and Rockstar will not reimburse "penalty charges" due to their user conduct policy, so there is no way to get your money back, nor will they remove you from the bad sport pool.

Remember guys when our biggest problem in Online were people who drove around in Kuruma/Insurgent/Tanks being dicks? I miss those days.
R* better come up with a big-ass ban wave soon, and have some propper anti-cheat added while they're at it too

Besides, the only reason I bought the game again for PC was in anticipation of LSPDFR and I've gotten hundreds of hours of enjoyment out of that.
R* better come up with a big-ass ban wave soon, and have some propper anti-cheat added while they're at it too
Rockstar Games. An Anti-Cheat worth a damn. Pick one.
R* better come up with a big-ass ban wave soon.
I'm sure they will. Usually when hacking gets out of control, it's a sign that a new update is coming soon, and thus a new ban wave.
they should just drop the central server concept and let the community police itself. Corporate dumbasses want to sell shark cards tho
Corporate dumbasses want to sell shark cards tho
Why do people blame shark cards for things that have nothing to do with shark cards ???
I don't get why it's all paid menus now
I don't get why it's all paid menus now
Gives them an excuse to make it closed source and hide nefarious shit in it. At least one of the current paid menus has been linked to a DDoS botnet, and another is suspected of silent bitcoin mining.
they could make it closed source anyway. if I was to pay for a menu I would be more upset about not getting a source code. at least free menus are heavily tested by the public by day 2
Also if you make your menu free, it's a lot more likely a corporate representative will download and dissect it to create a countermeasure. If you charge money, they might still do this, but you at least profit from it in the end, which is what you wanted anyway.
I can guarantee corporate every paid menu is owned by a corporate rep. none of them are very expensive compared to the impact trainers make on their shark card sales
How does the banning on the PC work? If a player get perma-banned then would they have to buy a new copy of GTA V?
How does the banning on the PC work? If a player get perma-banned then would they have to buy a new copy of GTA V?
They would also need to make another social club account using a different email, and in the case of the Steam version, make a new Steam as well. Most who intend to do malicious things just buy jacked SC accounts by the bunch, and when one gets banned they switch to another, until they're all banned.
Hackers back in the 360 and PS3 days seemed a lot nicer than the ones on PC.
Hackers back in the 360 and PS3 days seemed a lot nicer than the ones on PC.
there just wasn't much they could do early on
