Land Races wouldn't be much of an issue if people weren't dicks. Rockstar please make it so matchmaking links people who actually play the game with other like-minded folks instead of putting them in matches against edge lords who only play to grief. Right now the only way to find people who are good at the game is by switching to Free Aim, but that's still bad because you only find 5 people at much. Free Aim is actually the best because it makes the game more fair for everyone. - People can't auto-lock on you if you're driving a car. - It's harder for people to kill you even if they're close to you, so claiming bounties is actually a challenge. - Fights are more about who can land a headshot first instead of who gets to aim first. - Missions give a lot more cash since they take longer, plus you get bonus RP for using Free Aim. - A lot of people actually team up and act friendly. Being a dick in Free Aim is the worst thing you can do considering the extremely low player count. - DM is a lot more fair and balanced. All I want in GTA VI and the next iteration of GTA Online is having proper matchmaking and more PvE content.
Considering what I've heard about the working conditions at R* I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.
Well seeing as Harry Potter works at R* and likes to play ping pong rather than make games i'm surprised GTA V was so good
My internet is going bonkers so I decided to play some GTA IV and the first mission I did was the one where you go on a mission to a harbor with Packie to steal truck with drugs. As I was driving, Niko and Packie were cracking jokes and I instantly realised just how much better and more likeable the characters are in IV, it's not even comparable. Please, R*, in the next GTA game, give us some better characters and overall better story, not another snoozefest V's story was.
I got so fucking tired of my crew emblem reappearing on some of my vehicles I made a crew with a blank crew emblem, so I even wont have to see it when my crew level goes up
I personally liked how many of Niko's wisecracks are just things you yourself would probably say in that situation. Calling out an obvious lie, mocking someone's immense overconfidence, straight-up saying "this is bullshit"
Yep, Niko was super likeable because he just was your average guy in a circle of all the criminal shit Liberty City had to offer. He was super believeable and relateable, he was super aware of his actions and he's no good guy. He was no wanna-be movie director, gangsta from da hood or Rockstar's magnum opus; psycho killer constantly high on speed.
Lester and Micheal are great characters imo I also liked Chef, simply because he was totally normal V also had some really great moments (the first time trevor and micheal meet, the grove street drug deal with Trevor, the mortuary mission, the acid trip) other than that, yeah, everyone is worse; the villains, especially. All the bad guys in V are hyper-exaggerated dickheads; Dmitri was much more nuanced. and Black Protagonist (literally forgot his name) was such a boring token inclusion that it was actually funny. Can't have that SA nostalgia without a vaguely gangster guy with a hilltop mansion. Lamar was more fun than him.

They should've stuck with that idea, imo.
The cars from Benny's don't always have to be made custom to look good. The only cosmetic stuff on this is a set of rims in gold and blacked out windows. Also moments later whilst aiming another photo I was run over out of the blue by a random in the lobby with no provocation whatsoever. people in this game suck And a more arty shot.
Free aim? Isn't it like... How it always is?
no
Actually, the aim assist only counts for controllers Even if you use a Mouse in an auto-aim room, i believe you still have free aim
meanwhile on gta5-mods
meanwhile on gta5-mods
Just a reminder to anyone who's first exposure this is to Lady Deadpool, she's just as hideous as Wade.
Just failed the EMP Setup because the Hydra's engine shut off mid-flight and refused to reactivate :what: 60 year old peice of shit must've decided it was done.
Franklin was just so fucking annoying though He was pretty much exactly the same as CJ, a complete idiot who's constantly complaining. I don't want to play a character who's constantly talking shit, I want to be a fuckin thug life gangsta
At least CJ kinda embraced how fucking stupid the plot was at times. Franklin just kept playing it straight.
I picture Online becoming a stand-alone release at some point in the future, but that means two possible things can happen: Online becomes stand alone so you can boot it up directly as a game itself and have access to LS + other cities Rockstar plans to add. GTA Online becomes F2P, has micro-transactions and stuff locked requiring you to buy the respective GTA title to unlock, plus content updates become paid but you get a discount/for free if you buy the main game, but that still won't prevent them from releasing an update in the future that forces everyone to pay to use. I wouldn't want to live in a timeline where Rockstar made GTAO F2P and all the cool stuff is locked behind paywall.
Rockstar should stick with one or two protagonists, but I think three was a bit much. With three, they had to spread their writing over too many characters which hurt the personality depth each one could have. I think they could pull it off with just two characters in the future.

The entire narrative was about Micheal and Trevor resolving their past; his arc should simply not have been in the game.
AFAIK Trevor was initially going to be a primary antagonist for a good chunk of the story, but was rewritten as a playable character midway through the concept phase. Combine that with Micheal being the game's planned protagonist, and Franklin being added somewhat late in planning to try to tie the game to San Andreas... Yeah, three wasn't the plan at first, it just kinda went that direction for whatever reason.
wanna know what's the worst crew of all? NODO, those assholes will beat the shit out of you if suddenly you get lucky and stay first in the race, by sacrificing one guy and trying to T-bone or stop you
[vid]https://giant.gfycat.com/HospitableImperfectBlackmamba.webm[/vid] I'm pretty I used up all of my life's luck in that clip and will die in a freak accident tomorrow :v:

There's tons of unused dialogue for him playing basketball, shooting pool, etc. The whole Stretch thing and the hood turning on him could've been elaborated upon way more. His ambient dialogue when fighting people and the like sucks too. For what it's worth I did a couple mods that make him better to play as in free-roam by changing up some of his corny melee voice lines and gave him less of a baby face and more of a rugged cop-killer look: https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/grizzled-franklin

Also you just replaced all his fighting lines with swearing; his original lines were much better, had a lot more nuance to them than just shouting "SHIT" and "YEAH".
I would actually love to play as the primary Antagonist with the current character system, being able to switch from the protagonist to the antagonist
That would be kinda cool. They'd have separate missions and depending on what order you do them in, sometimes you're undoing or getting revenge for whatever the other did. There aren't many games out there that give the hero and the villain perfectly equal screen time, and doing it this way would let you write the story your own way as you go along. Depending on what missions you take with which character and how you complete them, you could even switch the roles around by the end of the game. A GTA game with a story like that would be awesome.

I invite you to get in a real fight and try to think of "nuance" one-liners when you're getting punched in the head, seeing red and thinking about nothing except your adrenaline-fueled reflexes #worldstar
