they really need to nerf the insurgent. it shouldn't be keeping up with this infernus that I'm trying to flee in. the only defense against them is to flee, have a minigun and know what to do with it, or to see them coming from a mile away and snipe the driver, and none of those tactics are very effective.
You know that the massive window that is in the front isn't bullet proof, right?
Sure, but the fact remains that something the likes of this: [t]https://images7.alphacoders.com/456/456422.jpg[/t] Shouldn't be able to keep up with something the likes of this: [t]http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4121/4774766634_7a404c424c_o.jpg[/t] In a contest of speed.
It doesn't keep up, either you've got a very crap Infernus against a fully upgraded Insurgent, or you're screwing up along the way.
they really need to nerf the insurgent. it shouldn't be keeping up with this infernus that I'm trying to flee in. the only defense against them is to flee, have a minigun and know what to do with it, or to see them coming from a mile away and snipe the driver, and none of those tactics are very effective.
If they're using bullets, try to keep them behind you and continue shooting at the driver. Most of the super cars in the base game have rear windows that are hard to shoot through. If they're using sticky bombs, just try to shoot the bomb out of their hand, it'll instantly destroy the Insurgent and kill the driver.
You know that the massive window that is in the front isn't bullet proof, right?
right, but it's moving at supercar speeds and if it's already right on top of you by the time you can get a shot then the only available target is the head. the easy way is to snipe the driver while he's still ages away. it needs to be made way slower, should be one of the slowest vehicles in the game
If it were slow, it'd get nothing done ever. It'd literally be useless.
It doesn't keep up, either you've got a very crap Infernus against a fully upgraded Insurgent, or you're screwing up along the way.
it was an infernus off the street against a presumably fully upgraded insurgent (who doesn't have all their vehicles fully upgraded?) because he already killed me on the BMX bike I was on and I spawned right next to an infernus. no matter how upgraded it is based on a 10 ton vehcile it shouldn't be keeping up with a car based on a vehicle that tops out at over 200 miles per hour [editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
If it were slow, it'd get nothing done ever. It'd literally be useless.
you know other than the fact that it's effectively immune to explosives and completely bulletproof from the rear and nearly bulletproof from the other 3 sides
it was an infernus off the street against a presumably fully upgraded insurgent (who doesn't have all their vehicles fully upgraded?) because he already killed me on the BMX bike I was on and I spawned right next to an infernus. no matter how upgraded it is based on a 10 ton vehcile it shouldn't be keeping up with a car based on a vehicle that tops out at over 200 miles per hour
It doesn't top out at 200 miles per hour, that's just claimed for the website. It caps out at about 120 miles per hour from ingame testing. The insurgent caps out below 100 stock, but keep in mind that upgrades helps the acceleration and top speed. A stock infernus can hit 60 in about five seconds, compared to 7.6 seconds for the Insurgent stock. Basically its exactly what I said, you took a stock vehicle against a fully upgraded one. Just about any vehicle in the game fully upgraded will outpace a stock super car, especially if its at street level with a lot of starting and stopping.
you know other than the fact that it's effectively immune to explosives and completely bulletproof from the rear and nearly bulletproof from the other 3 sides
All of that doesn't matter if it is basically stationary relative to every other vehicle in the game. The front and sides are massive open windows that basically funnel bullets in to the driver's head if the person firing can aim even vaguely near the driver. In what way is it, "nearly bulletproof from the other 3 sides" have you ever even shot at one? And is it being immune to bullets from behind somehow relevant when apparently the problem is with it chasing you down, meaning its behind you?
yeah but I reiterate it's a big fucking armored car that outran a supercar are you telling me you don't see the balance issues with that?
Have you considered that you're looking in the wrong direction for your fix? Why is your first thought to go, "That is as fast as this, THAT needs to be slower." and not, "That is as fast as this, THIS needs to be faster." Making the Insurgent slower won't make things better, it won't fix balance in the game. That Infernus will still get outrun by most other vehicles on the road if they've got a decent compliment of mods installed. And you're only considering the balance impact relative to the Infernus, not the Insurgent, how that will impact it and its playability.
yeah but I reiterate it's a big fucking armored car that outran a supercar are you telling me you don't see the balance issues with that?
the issue with that is that all cars' top speed is capped around 100-120mph and acceleration and braking of all of them are ridiculously exaggerated for gameplay and fun purposes, so realism doesn't really factor in
Wait, does this happen to them after logging out and back in again? [editline]5th April 2016[/editline] Uhh. I can't upgrade mine. It asks if I'm sure and then does nothing, doesn't cost anything either. [editline]t[/editline] Apparently you can't upgrade the convertible right now. Great. Just great.
Mine worked, Just had to go to LSC and change plate and colour, add the tracker and insurance, save it in my garage, then drive to bennys to add the custom crap. But sold it a couple of hours later because i like the voodoo more! [editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
Anyone up for some custom maps playlist? Avalanches Insurgent vs rpg Tanks vs lazers Stuff like that? Hit me up on social. ChrilleB easy cash and rp and alot of fun!
I'm doing this all day today since I'm free from work, Hit me up all PC users if you wanna fuck around and make some dough
top speeds in general are way too low in this game. the fastest cars top out around 240km/h... like, m8, what even is this?
top speeds in general are way too low in this game. the fastest cars top out around 240km/h... like, m8, what even is this?
The slamvan feels like it maxes out at 170. And the V12 schafter feels like it stops at just about 200. Which sucks..
the slamvan tops at around 250 if you glitch it, which I somehow did by accident.
the slamvan tops at around 250 if you glitch it, which I somehow did by accident.
This was patched literally 14 hours later It wasn't even a thing for a full day and yet people talk about it like it still works
I got banned for using a trainer in story mode. Didn't even go online. :frown:
The slamvan feels like it maxes out at 170. And the V12 schafter feels like it stops at just about 200. Which sucks..
speaking of v12 schafter it's faster than the sultan rs by a considerable margin. the sultan rs is a joke.
speaking of v12 schafter it's faster than the sultan rs by a considerable margin. the sultan rs is a joke.
Sedan with massive engine beats stripped down rally car. R* logic is best logic clearly, same with T2 approved fun.
too gnar for only just one video
lol that dog
Are they gonna add customizable supers at some point? I need to be able to pimp out a Turismo R or an Infurnus so I can pretend i'm playing GTA: Need For Speed.
It'd be nice to be able to change the interior color on all cars.
So I'm editing this zombie script found here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/zombiez-v So far I've removed the weather preset, removed the parts relating to dropping engine health to 0, and fixed a bug when getting into cars causing the player to become a zombie and uncontrollable. What I'd like to do is make the zombie's drag players out of cars, one thing the script right now doesn't have, and I don't know how honestly to add it into this script. Can anyone possibly help me make a little more sense of this?
using GTA; using System; using GTA.Math; using GTA.Native; using System.Text; using System.Windows.Forms; using System.Threading.Tasks; using System.Collections.Generic; namespace Zombiez { public class Zombiez : Script { Vector3 SpawnPoint; For anyone using Cheat Engine and that table posted earlier, Rockstar now stop you from earning more than 100000 per race
the slamvan tops at around 250 if you glitch it, which I somehow did by accident.
Man I miss that, I went to the airport to check it's top speed and acceleration abilities, and it fucking shot off like a missile. With the shit brakes and turning though, good luck stopping for a turn. Without it it's not as enjoyable.
