Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V10 - Single Player DLC When?

So the sabre custom has a slight acceleration glitch much like how the slamvan did, you raise it fully, wait till it hits the top speed raised then drop it.
It then proceeds to shoot off like a rocket, not really good to use other than when leaving corners or something because it doesn't change the vehicles overall top speed, just how fast it accelerates, all the cars with hydraulics have a slightly lower top speed when raised but the sabres is really drastic.
Well I definitely don't recommend Uraniom in it's current state.
It's unstable as fuck and it crashes all the time.
I think I've said this before quite a long time ago, but are there any FPers that play GTA:O on the PS4? I'm part of the crew but I never see anyone with the good ol' FAPS tag.
Just wondering. I would like to get together, maybe have a regular thing for once.
I do, hit me up. My PSN is the same as my name here.

I play Online once in a blue moon every now and then.
Pretty sure it was just a bunch of people speculating, but I was in a lobby earlier where people were talking about a "Box Office Bust" update featuring tons of movie references.
A katana and yellow/black jumpsuit, an extremely powerful jerrycan-powered chainsaw (uses your jerrycan ammo as fuel, won't start if empty), several "vinewood psycho" masks loosely referencing the likes of Jigsaw and The Mask among others, and a return of the Deluxo, Hustler, PMP 600 and Uranus, all with customization options to reference something or other.
[editline]t[/editline]
I signed in while they were discussing the chainsaw. From what I could gather, it's a melee weapon you hold the trigger down to activate, and its range is very short - you basically have to be touching the enemy - but it can tear through your whole life bar in under a second and sprays blood everywhere. Jerrycan as fuel is presumably to balance it.
That sounds like an awesome update. I hope it becomes more than speculation down the line.
I wonder how a chainsaw would work with the euphoria ragdolls without looking glitchy and weird.
it wouldn't
It would probably just make clouds of blood until they die and just fall over backwards
Though they could always do the Source engine dismemberment model of removing a limb on a ragdoll, then spawning a copy of that ragdoll with everything but that limb hidden at the same coordinates, so it looks like the limb fell off.
the only way to make it look good would be to make an animation for being attacked with a chainsaw. ideally they'd implement gore too because no game with a chainsaw has ever looked good without gore
An animation-based instakill melee weapon could work. As long as you hold the trigger down and make contact with a player while pointing it at them, the animation starts.
The fuel system would ensure you can't just run around with it constantly held down; only rev it up when you think you're about to get the kill.
making it have the same effect on the ragdoll as the taser could work too

I'm at my wits end. The GTAV Launcher keeps crashing as it gets to 54.30 mb/54.38 mb downloaded.
I don't know how to fix this.

Did you transfer the game to another computer?
I had the same problem after not installing the game correctly when transferring between computers, had to do a fresh install from disk.

nope, same computer I installed it on originally.
Gang Attacks beyond rank 100 are brutal.
There's a Merryweather one where all enemies carry miniguns and are super op, plus you only get some ammo, two shotguns and around $2000 for completing it

Yeah the enemy AI is pretty unpredictable, sometimes missions can be pretty easy, but other times, you'll just get destroyed.

Got it eventually.

that 'pop pop' headshot at the beginning is super satisfying
You know what would be a really fun asymmetrical deathmatch mode?
One team has only the sawed-off double barrel, the other team (which is half the size) only has the musket. Both have the cavalry dagger as backup. Shotgun team has to get as close as possible to get a kill, and musket team has to make every shot count thanks to reloading slowing their movement speed, making it easier for shotgun players to run up and vaporize them.
There's a lot of potential strategy for both teams. As musket team, make sure only one person fires at a time to ensure you aren't all reloading and vulnerable at once, and as shotgun team, form a mob to make it more difficult for musket team to pick all of you off before you can reach them, or find ways to sneak as close as possible to musket team without being seen. Musket team relies on wide open spaces, shotgun team relies on corners and cover. Polar opposites in a war of attrition and stealth.

Nice, any idea how to get that armor vest? Can you glitch it to save it to your personal outfit?

Cool. Looking forward to it. I'll add you after work tonight. Thanks!

I'll PM both you guys to get all the PSN names. (Edit: Nevermind, I'm a dumbass, it is on your profile. I'll add you both)
If there are other people that haven't responded yet, I'd still love to have the contact. It gets real lonely out there, and it gets old paying hookers for company all of the time, :v:

Add me, my PSN is HappyAngryTiger. I play most of the time.
Took this, pretty pleased with it.

I thought that was a real picture at first.
Nothing feels better than blowing up some cocky kid's armored Kuruma, blowing it up again when they call it back, then following them to the Mors lot and blowing it up AGAIN when they try to get in it.
Roleplaying as a cop in GTA:O is amazing imo.
My super yacht serves as my personal sea carrier and HQ. When I'm going in long patrols in just LS I place my yacht close to Vespucci, if I'm going to wander across the state I usually place it in Paleto Bay to not be bothered.
Patrols for me are basically this:
- Look for players who have reached Psychopath rank and keep an eye on them. Patrols have risk levels, i.e A single psychopath who is not beyond rank 80 is a low risk, a couple of psychos in a vehicle is a medium risk and a bunch of psychopaths doing a "Hold Off" (when an organization or a group fights in the same area over and over and kills anyone who goes through it) or several people in Hydras it's a high risk patrol.
- Look for players who killed more than two times the same player in a single row.
- Look for bounties. If the bounty is a low level character, the target has to be protected so I need to keep runners away, if the bounty is a high level or a psycho the target has to be killed but I also need to kill all the rival runners.
- Watch the news at my yacht and see what comes up. If there's someone causing havoc and they're killing people I just pop there and see what I can do.
- Stop criminal organizations, full organizations are high risk tho.
Lower risk means having to rely less on heavy weapons and heavy armor, higher risk means having to bring out the big guns and waste cash on ammo, plus players at high risk usually drive cars which cost a fuckton and rape me with their insurance fee. If the money I get from stopping an organization is less compared to what I had to blow on ammo and armor then it's just pointless, I'll stop them if I can but it won't be my top priority during patrol.
There are some players that I just treat as special enemies. There's always a guy in a jet who nobody can shoot down, sometimes it might be rogue and kill both innocent players and criminals. Pilots are the fucking worst when they work for an organization because they become hard as fuck to stop. Always use minigun or sniper rifle agains them and try to hold off aircraft spawns so they can't get another Hydra right away.
Everytime I come first at a Freeroam Event like near-misses, high speed and such, when I've been in first place for too long there's always someone who sends mercenaries after me or puts a bounty on me. This usually causes a player in an Hydra to spawn, attracts mercenaries or spawns two people in a Kuruma.
There are also evil millionaires. I am a crime-fighting, clean cut, good intended, self- made millionaire who fights evil, but there are people with as much power as me who are trying to do the opposite. These people drive high end cars and dress like clowns with their monkey masks and ugly suits, they don't give a fuck about life and shit, they just blow people up and try to fuck me over all time. They're unpredictable and annoying, groups of them are brutal.
There are also military-obsessed psychopaths who drive their insurgents and wear bulletproof helmets 24/7, probably to protect their empty minds from the outside world, this is definitively a sign that lizard people are slowly taking over San Andreas.
Do bulletproof helmets actually protect you against headshots?
