Imo there should be a website or app which showcases good-looking characters and the combinations you need to make in character creator to get them or make it like Saints Row where people can upload their characters for you to download and then you can just build your own character based on that.
That exists (kind of) but nobody uses it. Your best bet is to download this and scroll through combinations until your guy looks similar. EDIT: What I mean is that mod lets you save characters, but there's nowhere to share them. Probably because you can't use them online :v:
SHIT I figured out why I couldn't quick join any heists, I had quick jobs set to user-created only which for some fucking reason also applies to quick heists. God damnit Rockstar.
Um. I know we've probably been over this before, but... The Khamelion. Why does it have a V12 under the hood with (customizable!) exhaust, as well as access to the turbo upgrade, if it's 100% electric? That is THE most baffling thing I have yet encountered in GTAV.
i could have sworn it's described as "hybrid electric", maybe i'm confusing it with a different car though.
i could have sworn it's described as "hybrid electric", maybe i'm confusing it with a different car though.
Again, that would make more sense if the proper engine ever kicked in, like it does in the Dilletante. Also the Khamelion has no gas tank. It's modeled into the underside, yes, but unlike every other car in the game with a gas tank, it isn't explosive when shot directly with high caliber, implying there is no gas. It was clearly meant to be a hybrid, but I guess someone really fucked up or forgot, because it definitely isn't.
They should add a Go-Kart like the one in GTA:SA
Say what you will, I'm still patiently waiting for just one thing... [t]http://i.imgur.com/qfX5YlS.jpg[/t] Infernus Classic, based on one of the baddest motherfuckers of all bad motherfucker cars, ever.
I want the [del]Infernus[/del]Cheetah Classic so I can be Kavinsky. [t]http://futurecityrecords.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/8589369580_768da014df_b.jpg[/t]
You're thinking more of a Turismo Classic for that, I think.
Meant to type Cheetah actually.
I've said it a dozen times and I'll say it again: Deluxo pls
I've said it a dozen times and I'll say it again: Deluxo pls
I looked up Deluxo and I have no idea why this is showing up on Google Image mildy nsfw
Dominator Classic or bust.
I got VocalDispatch for LSPDFR and now I can verbally respond to call outs and make requests. Shit is immersive as fuck now. Here are some recent pictures I had: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/DV3sbS.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/IHIMut.jpg[/t] It was fun as shit, but than I had to discharge my firearm so now I'm not allowed to play for a week while they conduct an investigation into my shooting.
You're probably on paid leave

holy shit that looks pretty incredible how long did it take for you to set it all up?
LSPDFR takes no time at all to install. After that I just started to replace models, sounds and install all the different plugins and callouts as they started to come out and things caught my interest. Once you learn how to modify GTA V it's relatively easy to add things on a whim or play with things until you get the results you want (Like I replaced all the snow-cop cars with modern, normal police cars and even got the LED's to work correctly recently) I only staged that one coroner picture, I just got that skin and the van to go with him. Otherwise I just take pictures of stuff as they happen in game. I haven't touched it since LSPDFR came out though so it's not a loss to me. I'm sure if you use a mod folder like I do you can just 'switch' between modded and unmodded GTA V but if you value Online at all I wouldn't even mess around with it.
I only play for LSPDFR. I'm considering doing a fresh reinstall so I can play online, but GTA Online is essentially just a racing game for me at this point and I'm sure there are better racing games out there.
apparently some genius from FaZe clan just exposed the Rockstar's livestream key people. I can't name who is who, neither the guy i know who was there want to expose their privacy, so this will be a mystery
And this is important how?

Just a bunch of people and some monitors.

Going immediately from GTA4's driving to 5's can really screw your timings right
You know, after spending a lot of time really getting to know it, I'd say my only major complaint with V's handling is the fact the suspension feels much too firm on many cars. Ideally cheap economy cars and SUVs would have ridiculously soft or awful shocks that make them bounce and rock about constantly, while the higher ends have a much smoother ride at high speeds. Of course, you could get aftermarket suspension to fix any car's ride, but some absolutely should feel horrible stock. As of right now, every car has the sport package by default, basically. [editline]t[/editline] I think that's what most people mean when they say V's cars feel too light. They don't play against the suspension as much as you'd expect, most cars aren't as interactive with the road as they should be. IV had the right idea, but EVERY car behaved like that, even ones meant to be tight performance machines, so to many it felt unrealistic and overly heavy. A balance between the two would be best, ultimately. Some things should feel heavy and supple like IV when stock, others should be firm and planted like V.
At least when driving and turning it isn't stuff as fuck, normally I can use the brake to make a turn easily in V, in IV? fuck that, handbrakes 24/7

A good handling file for GTA4 can make the handling feel good, better than some dedicated racing games
More complex, sure, but not realistic by any measure. If you want realism, GTAV is actually a little closer, but cars are much too responsive instead of not being responsive enough. IMO, low to mid end cars should behave like they do in IV, with bad weight distribution and poor to passable suspension, and high-end cars should act like V, with high responsiveness and good grip. HOWEVER, modding a low to mid end car with sport+ suspension, carbon parts / part deletion, specialized tires and a spoiler gradually changes it from IV to V style behavior with each upgrade. After all, in reality reducing weight, increasing downforce and grip, and reducing body roll would make a car substantially more balanced and capable in a high-performance environment; you can give a sedan an incredibly powerful engine, but if it isn't balanced, it's all going to go to waste.
Nothing should ever go back to the GTA IV handling. It wasn't fun, it didn't add anything, it was just ridiculous. And nothing would say, "Never use these cars." like turning them in to tumbleweeds. There is already a big issue with people not using anything but the absolute best vehicles all the time. Making the other vehicles control like ass would make that even worse.
But you'd be able to electively fix any of that with modifications, is what I'm saying. People who like it can leave it as is, people who don't can change it. Where's the problem?
