wait, isn't it Rockstar North which is handling the dlc's for online and not Rockstar themselves?
wait, isn't it Rockstar North which is handling the dlc's for online and not Rockstar themselves?
Rockstar North is the main developer of GTA and the main development house.
Rockstar should make a thing where people in RSC can vote for the next car to be added to Benny's.Add three cars and let the population pick what Benny's new project will be.
Given the community, you're either going to get every fucking super car being picked or a bunch of piece of shit cars.
Maybe add three, then give a list of fifteen varied cars to vote on, and the top three from that list will be picked Said list would only have one or two supers, and they'd be ones that actually need the racecar buff like the Infernus or Adder
the adder doesn't need a racecar buff though, it's still pretty competitive. the only reason adders lose is because everyone picks one of the 3 fastest depending on their driving style
the adder doesn't need a racecar buff though, it's still pretty competitive. the only reason adders lose is because everyone picks one of the 3 fastest depending on their driving style
Are you kidding? It's atrocious around corners, and you have to practically stop for turns if you don't want its 2-ton weight carrying you into a wall. Its braking is worse than the Infernus, its acceleration is worse than the Voltic, it even loses in highway races now to the 900R, and you can hardly customize it. What's it good at anymore? [editline]t[/editline] My problem isn't that it's not the best, because wow it sure isn't, my problem is that there isn't any good reason to pick it. Losing its niche to the 900R certainly didn't do it any favors.
it's not that the adder is too slow but that the 900r is too fast. it lost it's niche to a car that totally dominates every race it's put into.
IMO, the Adder should by all means be the fastest thing in the game by a huge margin. I'm talking like 160, 180, maybe even 200mph. I mean, the Veyron is a fucking 1200hp V16. Hyper-niche it as the most monstrously powerful straight-line rocket ever seen in GTA, and suddenly it's a very compelling super again. [editline]t[/editline] Wouldn't be without its drawbacks of course. Even so much as touching the wheel at top speed would be tempting fate, and collision with a solid object would SURELY vaporize the car on impact. You are risking a violent and fiery death behind the wheel of this thing if you don't exercise some restraint. "Good job, you did it wrong and now you're dead" seems like a fair trade-off for that sort of power. The bikes already have that element of risk to them after all.

GTA IV pls (don't mind the audio, I forgot to turn off my mic :v:)
Is the custom banshee really that good? I thought the T20 was still the best for overall performance.
900R has the best top speed as of right now, without the use of glitches. He means the 900R now dominates straight-shot, point-to-point highway races that the Adder used to thrive in.
Is the custom banshee really that good? I thought the T20 was still the best for overall performance.
depends on whether or not you're good at holding momentum through a slide on some courses
Is the custom banshee really that good? I thought the T20 was still the best for overall performance.
It's the fastest in a straight line because of the fix they did to its top speed. They fucked with the suspension so much that if you lower it yourself by shooting the suspension it'll go even faster.
Anyone got a list of all the songs CJ sings when you idle in GTASA?

Wow, I just realized that female characters can't wear tassle scarves with body armor anymore. RIP operator outfits.

You think that's bad? On the same mission, the helicopter I blew up landed on me.
It's still good at detecting douchebags online
Eh I dunno, most of the folks I see with them (rare as they are) just genuinely like the Veyron, and that's why they have it. Most of the chradder douchebags have moved on to other games they can grief and call people racial slurs in.
Most people in the console version suck at the game. At this point I really don't know how can people fail at grinding missions and heists, the game is not even hard holy shit. The problem with people is that they keep thinking Online is the same as Story Mode and then complain because Online doesn't play the same way as they would expect. Online is very, very different from SP. Enemies are way more difficult to kill and your character is weak compared to characters in SP. You build your strategy knowing that enemies will be deadly accurate and drain you out of health in half a second, that's why you bring armor and food and never rush it. You don't have Franklin's handling, Trevor's ability to be immortal and Michael's slow mo. You play with a character who has default handling and can't take a hit most of the time. NPCs are insane and that's something you always need to have in mind when driving, cars will spin at top speeds, enemies spawn behind you, police will never give up, etc. \rant I just believe that preparation missions which take more than a single attempt to complete are a total waste of time.

I just like the Veyron, so I take it for a ride whenever i feel like it.

The Adder is a really car imo, it's just that back in the early days of Online it was just a status symbol for people who had no taste for different cars. Most people usually forget that GTA is mostly played by little children and most kids always prefer anything that could "stand out" or the most expensive option available over other options. That's why there were chrome adders, a lot of players living in Eclipse (which was the most expensive apartment), dollar rims, griefers trying to boost their K/Dr, golden/pink guns, guns with all the attachments on, cars with the most expensive mods even when they don't fit. If you go to any kid who plays GTAO and ask them what cars they drive or property they own, they'll likely answer "The most expensive one" as opposed to going to a place like this thread where most people probably answer with their favorite car and a property in their favorite location. I just assume most "dickheads" and people with no taste are, in most cases, just kids, which wouldn't surprise me tbh. I have been playing the GTA series since GTA III and I was like 6 or 7 years old in that time. You can bet most people drive the T20 now, it's usually seen has the "best" plus is the most expensive, so was the Zentorno when it came out (and everyone used to drive one). If Rockstar ever releases a $10,000,000 car you'll see everyone who hasn't played the game for long enough doing everything under the sun to get one
I genuinely like my T20 and Osiris but I keep going back to my Coquette and Buffalo S for my "normal" cars.
I genuinely like my T20 and Osiris but I keep going back to my Coquette and Buffalo S for my "normal" cars.
I use a T20 for getting places fast if I have an objective. If things are more relaxed I nearly always resort to an Oracle XS or a Tailgater.
The Osiris is my gotta go fast car, and with it's pretty good handling I get to places fairly fast, my most relaxed car however would be the "company car" which is basically a FAPS Dominator, kinda like the Panto.

There is going to be some maintenance for GTA Online on the 27th.
Apparently there's two passengers in every plane in singleplayer.
