Ive been replaying San Andreas recently. God its still so fucking good. And it still feels bigger than GTA V.

Friendly reminder of the day: If you see a video on Youtube's recommended videos page which is GTAV/GTAO clickbait (IE, the usual "______ CONFIRMED!" title, or a picture of a real-life/modded-in car in the thumbnail, but the video is just five minutes of rambling and speculation with no proof), report it for "spam / misleading: misleading thumbnail" and give it a thumbs down. Action IS taken against them with enough reports. In the case of misleading thumbnails, they lose custom thumbnail privileges until further notice, and sometimes lose the ability to monetize their videos as well. I want to see an end to this shit. These guys have no shame, they're only going to stop if enough people organize against them.

Their channels will probably all die once GTA online dies. The only GTA youtuber I watch is DatSaintsFan for his fashion friday videos and car shows, so I can get ideas for paint jobs.

I'd argue it would be relatively harmless if they weren't doing it for ad revenue. Many of them put ads on their rather blatantly falsely advertised videos, because they know what they claim will draw attention and make them money. As a result these channels are bloating the gaming category, to the point where if you show even the slightest interest in GTA content, they get dumped on you in buckets.

The roads are also more zig zaggy and due to the draw distance plus the fact that there is always something in the way so you can't see far, you really get the illusion that it's bigger. For example at Angel Pine, San Fierro is really just around the corner but due to the mountain you can't see it, and the roads also go around the mountain and take a longer way so you get the illusion of travelling a lot

With the lack of new content lately, they're pretty much just grasping at straws. I honestly don't really have any more high hopes for major game updates now that Leslie Benzies is out of the picture. I think R* finally squeezed GTA online dry.

I can't believe I never knew you could rotate your car in the air as long as you let go of the accelerator in it.

Even a bunch that aren't even marked on the map like random stores and clubs.

I don't mind people adding cars to the game, I just wish they wouldn't give them their real life Manufacturers names and shit.

From a huge SFPD which is one of the largest interiours in the game, that even has working peds inside and such, to unusued brothels, unused safe houses where you can save your game and even enter a wardrobe, to a working two story ammu nation and properly working Rusty Brown Dougnuts shop where you can buy food. It's insane. And none of these can be entered in the game unless you glitch your way in. I mean you can get to Liberty City from the fucking Ganton Gym. The actual map is small for todays standards, You can travel from Los Santos to Las Venturas in 45 seconds.
