Oops, maybe I wasn't clear enough :v: By "perfect for supercars" I meant it's great to install a mod then use that car's sound.
My heart :(
How do you guys do to end up in a public session with no players ? I just got into the new update and I'd like to try it out first without having to deal with other players/eventual cheaters.
I've found that connecting to shitty wifi helps, at least on PS4. Either that or I run other applications in the background until I lag out.
If you don't mind playing solo without friends, you can block UDP port 6672 from the game. Every time you join a public session it'll think it can't connect to anybody and put you on your own.
Wait so, how do I do this? I really want to do this now.
Wait so, how do I do this? I really want to do this now.
You can do it either from your router or your OS's firewall, not hard, just look up port blocking and there will be a shitload of tutorials on how to block specific ports with windows firewall etc.
Yeah after I posted that I was like, "Wait there's port blocking shit in the Firewall."
Back in the day I used to drop in on tons of weird or overly deep conversations in TF2 What is it with satire-driven shooter games that brings this kinda thing out of people
It happens more or less when people aren't really there to play the game. For example, I used to have tons of discussions like that while dicking around on cp_orange_x because it was designed so that as long as you were on the last point there was a very, very slim chance you'd actually get it
Good fucking god, when your Cargo is out at sea, get ready to be pissed off, this is fucking horse shit, you go out, collect a single crate, drop it off, then repeat 2 more times, like fuck me the distance makes this annoying as fuck as is but I FUCKING HATE THE SEA WHEN IT SENDS MY BOAT FLYING INTO THE AIR.
And don't forget when you have to make a sale run using the fucking tugboat, but the fucking thing is pointed towards a bridge it can't go under, so it takes 5 minutes to turn it around. Thank god the session was full of chill people because that could've easily been awful.

But it's really not worth the time to do 3 crates on your own.

Hey guys, just wondering if the Facepunch GTA crew is still active, and if so could someone send me an invite? My social club is Elv02x
Well that's just fucking fantastic, I spend 30 minutes doing this bullshit for a shit $22,000 because I couldn't deliver 1 of the crates in time, then I get told the Rockstar servers couldn't process the transaction. [editline]9th June 2016[/editline] Oh my god, but it can take $2,500 off me for the shit I own...
I wish you didn't have to enter your warehouse every time you deliver a package. It's sooooo god damn tedious. Just let me drop it off and keep going.
Cuckstar needs to fuck off with the transaction can not be made, I'm tired of losing time/money/crates because of this shit.
Well I'm not doing this shit for a while now then, they don't give me my $22,000, they take $2,500 off me and then they also tell me I have to wait 30 minutes before selling again.

Which you should do anyway cause you make more money that way. With a small warehouse, you can fit 16 crates in. Each sells for 12k. But if you fill the warehouse entirely, instead of selling for 192k which is 12k a piece. You get 250k.
Go to your windows firewall and make a custom rule for gtav.exe, enter 6672 as a remote UDP port and set it to block the connection, enable the rule and voila. empty public sessions, nobody can join.

Just got back into playing GTA V again since the update. Seeing as the last question got second paged on 68, is the FAP's group still active? Just want to check I'm not going to send a PM to Zombie and find he's been AFK for a year.

Do you have to have multiple people in your organization to sell larger quantities, or is it just recommended?
If you lose contraband / money due to a connection error, raise a ticket with Rockstar Support and they'll give you the money you were due plus 100k as a sorry. [editline]9th June 2016[/editline]
Do you have to have multiple people in your organization to sell larger quantities, or is it just recommended?
Recommended, as the larger quantities will occasionally attract NPCs as well as the usual amount of players
well this fucking sucks, I bought an office and named my organisation but somehow the game decided to name my organisation for me and now I'm stuck with the name I used the last time I was a VIP
So what is the point of being able to see another company's cargo? I find it on the map and I can't do anything with it. I can't destroy it. I can't pick it up. All I can do is push it around.
I wish you didn't have to enter your warehouse every time you deliver a package. It's sooooo god damn tedious. Just let me drop it off and keep going.
They should make it so you actually have to go into your warehouse with your vehicle in order to finish it. Often when you get onto the warehouse spot, you still show up on the map for cargo. And you still show up in everyone's game until you eventually disappear.

Most times you can destroy it, sometimes it's a bug where the crew can't pick it up, or they already did but it still shows up on everyone else map. [editline]9th June 2016[/editline] Also I get explosive ammo.. so how am I supposed to use it? I am not in any organization yet..
You can destroy it with explosives and get 2k, some ammo and some rp.
And the ability to piss off the person who owns said crate.
What advantages does forcing a solo public session give other than allowing you to solo organisation stuff? Or is that the only thing?
And the ability to piss off the person who owns said crate.
I love doing that, it's so much fun.
