I don't know what the fuck is with this game, but sometimes, randomly it likes to kill two of my keyboard keys for a while, and won't respond to them unless I kinda fuck with the keys. I was super concerned because I was convinced my laptop's e and g keys were dying, but nope, it never happens unless I play Isaac. If the e key is working ingame, closing it works fine and I don't have any problems with any other program, but if I ragequit because it has stopped working, it stays in this buggered state where it kinda half responds.
What the hell? A black fly just flew over a golden poop and suddenly turned into a pooter fly. The 3DS version is weird...

That's been in the game since the flash version :v:
If a black fly hangs around a poop long enough they turn into a Pooter
So wait does Afterbirth re-lock Godhead until you complete the 3 extra marks? I haven't encountered it once since I installed the dlc.

If you have the secret triggered, it stays unlocked. The only thing that's been changed is the condition to unlock the secret.
If you haven't done today's daily run yet, you really really should. 2nd floor brimstone, 3rd floor ludo, mega satan end goal.
Only a few hours left and right now I've got a double digits global rank, I'm feeling pretty fukin pleased right now~~
2nd floor brimstone
Oh ffs, I missed that devil deal...
I feel like XXXXXXXL could be made into its own mode, with some tweaks.
Labyrinth mode. All floors are womb XL size, but instead of two boss rooms one after the other, they're in different spots on the map; one normal boss room, and one golden boss door you can only open after you beat the first one, which contains the exit to the next floor. Unlike normal XL floors though, there are two shops, two curse rooms, two arenas etc, and there are two secret and two super secret rooms too.
Cathedral and Sheol are also featured, merged with the Chest and Dark Room respectively, in which you fight the Cathedral or Sheol boss to gain access to the Chest or Dark Room boss. Five huge floors and about an hour of play. Also, if you found the two key pieces hidden on the previous floors (they can appear anywhere pedestal items can aside from the item, boss, angel and devil pools), you can open up a hidden sixth floor - simply titled Labyrinth - and confront a new superboss at the end of it.

Screwed this up taking Tech X before the Mega Satan fight.

I read at the wiki it's [sp]mega satan for me[/sp] is this correct?
I've gotten platinum God in the original BoI, Real plat in Rebirth, and am close to 1001%, and I still don't know the names of most of the enemies :v:
(not counting bosses ofcourse)
Maybe it's just because I haven't played in a long time, but Speed! is a ludicrous challenge. It wasn't until I reached Depths I that I realized I had a time limit.

This was in a daily run? For real?
I've been trying to get back into this, I had platinum God buy honestly I just don't have the desire to play anymore
Instead of being this fun game it's turned into this long grind tuned to people who play this game professionally instead of the casual fan
Too many of the bosses are just not fun, a majority of the new items are just awful
I think I might honestly disable after birth , see if that brings back my joy
I have genuinely zero motivation to ever complete the keeper or eve and Lazarus
The balance is non existent I wish instead of focusing on items Edmund paid attention to the fact that half the characters in this game are woerthless

Seems like it's a modded sprite based on this.

I'd play the everloving shit out of that
I got instant KOed by someone popping up in front of me as the keeper in the chest.
geez
Oh and XO4A 2ST6 was a pretty good run for a keeper early on with the wooden nickle but I screwed up.

I still play BOI for fun, even in Afterbirth. I don't think any of my characters have completed all the objectives or bosses or unlocks or whatever. I've played through them all randomly with whatever I felt like.
I still haven't unlocked The Lost or Keeper, because unlocking them is simply anti-fun. And I've completed only like 2 or 3 challenges.
I have clocked in ~120 hours in BOI.
I have everything done in the n3DS version of Rebirth aside from the Lost and challenges, and I just play either Isaac or Cain whenever I have half an hour or so to kill.
It's not the sort of game that's healthy to binge on. It's very easy to spiral into silent anger if you spend too much time bashing against the same wall over and over. Play it less and it'll be more fun, I promise.
I just play Eden. It's a different experience every time and thanks to me exploiting the ultra greed fight via glowing hourglass, I now have over 300 Eden tokens so I can just restart if I ever get a truly bad Eden run. Aw yeaaaa
VEJN-ZB66
9 Lives, Book of Shadows, The Battery, Sackboy, Dr. Fetus, Ipecac, Mr. Mega, Tears Up pills left right and center!
What I expected to be another "failed because of random bullshit" 9 lives Mega Satan run with the Lost, ended up being one of the most fun runs I've ever had. Normally I refuse to pick up Dr. Fetus on Lost runs, because it's almost bound to go wrong... But I made an exception just for the giggles and hot diggity damn did I get rewarded big time for that!
The floor right after Dr. Fetus (Caves > Necropolis) gives both Ipecac and Mr. Mega, making you an unstoppable machine. If you ever wanted to be a rapid-fire-poison-bombs-with-giant-explosions-on-contact-with-immunity-to-blast-damage-and-the-chance-to-cop-out-with-the-book-of-shadows-and-resources-all-over-the-place-because-sackboy-also-9-lives, well here's your chance!
I ALMOST feel bad for Mega Satan for getting raped so hard, but fuck that guy!

Wait, that gives you eden tokens?
Aww yeah, always had a shortage of those. Eden is such a fun/terrible character to play depending on how RNG likes you

Not sure if this was a patch, but SPEED!!! doesn't just end when the timer runs out. You slowly start losing health. So I suppose if you got some health-granting item combo or were close enough to Mom's heart you could still win it.
Greed mode has shown me that the D100 isnt a bad item at all
before Afterbirth I would have never even think about using it, now its a must have

Honestly, when I saw XXXXXXXL I thought Ed had finally made the Zelda mode I wanted where all the floors were combined into one and it was largely up to you how you navigated it, with opportunities to shortcut jump across areas by blowing out walls in secret rooms. Was disappointing to find out it was just bigger floors.
Before he revealed any information about greed mode I thought that the new mode was going to be something along those lines.
Well isn't there the thoughts of a room editor? Maybe you can edit floors as well for a seed.
D7 is pretty fucking awesome. It can reroll greed shops back into normal shops, and apparently if you use it on an empty secret room:

I don't know if it always does that, but regardless that owns.

The first time I got the D7 I kept farming an easy room for infinite coins + batteries, found a Greed Shop on the same floor. I rerolled it into a regular shop over and over, and it also got to the point I couldn't buy anything more because 2 or 3 space bar items were sitting on top of each slot of the store (because of the restock item)
I dropped a bomb to see if I could maybe knock the pedestals out of the way so I could buy more stuff, but I dropped it too close to the donation machine. Turns out the D7 was also spawning a new donation machine each time, and the bomb hit like 50 of them at once

Considering that Krampus and the Lump of Coal was added on a whim back in flash Isaac, we can reasonably assume that something greater could be coming. A 1-off poem is one thing to entertain, especially considering that it breaks the fourth wall and calls out Edmund by name. However, it contains an additional track that will not be visible until Christmas day, named "Pool of Yule", of which the in-game variant contains the Lump of Coal and Krampus' Head. The description alluding to Krampus' visit, which further enforces that suspicion of content. Likely not something expanded like Greed Mode, but perhaps a champ Kramp and/or more item(s) to find.
I also detested that while I wrote this time, it was read off in prose and really half-assed rhymes.
