Or it could just be a unique song for the krampus encounter

I've just used a lifetime's worth of luck in a single day.
I swear to god this new christmas horror movie called Krampus only makes me think of Binding of Isaac.
Eden is a fucking trip sometimes. Gives me next to nothing run after run until I'm like "Ugh fine, one more and I'm done."
And then it gives me epic fetus, D6 and the fool. I'm sorry, WHAT?

seriously mega brim is insanely fun. especially in boss rush oh my god you just mow them all down, and since you get charges between waves you can nearly refill the next charge, too.
So uhh... That epic fetus and D6 eden run? Yeah, that turned into a blank card double charge double jera run.

I had basement 2 brimstone the lost. I had such hope.
Then champion red mega fatty happened.

Unless you've got a gold key or a lockpick trinket, what I usually do is search the map for a non-locked crate drop and a battery drop, restart when I find them via ctrl+alt+del, go directly to the crates and duplicate them, then go to the batteries and start duplicating them for limitless charges. No keys needed and an easy shortcut for emptying the item pool. but ofc you may not find either and also if you don't want to cheat you can just settle for the gold chests.
breaking this game is fUn
I managed to find two additional jera and three batteries in cathedral, to multiply a double key room drop.
Went from 14 keys to 99 in one floor. Blank card jera fucking rules.
Why can't the keeper get devil deals and get hit more than twice? It's such bullshit, I somehow managed to beat ??? with him earlier due to ludo+holy shot and 7 luck from pennies :B, and even The Hush (thanks to Chaos Card), but I had like -80 streaks from playing him and dying to stupid shit.

Nicalis dreamed about making the world's weakest Isaac character.
And they succeeded.
(cue lab explosion)
Why can't the keeper get devil deals
He can.
But getting hit counts as red heart damage.
And you can't get soul hearts to protect you from it.
AND he dies from taking a 2 heart deal (unless you use a strength card before you die after taking it, leaving you at 1 container).
Should've made devil deals cost money in keeping with the theme.
That would be a good idea for a stand alone item as well.

It shouldn't be like this though, considering The Lost seems stronger than he is right now, and it doesn't feel like it should be the case at all. Make devil deals cost money or something? I don't know, just fix him so he is at least a LITTLE enjoyable to play.
If you haven't done today's daily run yet, you really really should. 2nd floor brimstone, 3rd floor ludo, mega satan end goal.
Only a few hours left and right now I've got a double digits global rank, I'm feeling pretty fukin pleased right now~~
scores are now finalized for that day

aw yeah I just BARELY got top 100 for a daily run. And considering the top like 50 are all cheating lmao I'm pretty happy with this.
you know what I really love, when an enemy chases me down and I dont even have the base speed to outrun it. fuck you game
[sp] seriously, the keeper needs fuckng flying or some shit since it is sometimes impossible to survive a room with his base speed/hp[/sp]

If anything [sp]the Keeper[/sp] could use a tears up buff to make his gameplay a lot less sluggish.

In actuality, I find that he has a much better time when starting off with a damage boost, not tears.
In all of my successful runs as him, a floor 1 boost is typically enough to keep me rolling for long enough to build a strong and stable run unless I get blindsided by an especially-bad room or series of rooms. His natively-slow firing rate isn't a huge concern when all it takes is 1 volley to kill an enemy that's encroaching on you. Of course, a higher fire rate does this as well, but there are tons of fire rate boosters, but not nearly as many damage boosting items. Plus there's the added bonus of the flies you accrue having their damage scale with your damage. With high enough damage output, it's possible to survive pretty late into the game without a movement speed bonus either. Although there are a few rooms that are extremely harrowing, such as the narrow Womb room filled with leeches.
He does come with a 1.2 damage multiplier like Cain does, but it's typical to miss with some of the shots you fire due to their spread. Given his permanent fragility, I'd suggest it become somewhere between that and Judas's multiplier of 1.35.

Thank god I found the Host Hat or this would have gone very differently.
Keeper Death's Touch and Swallowed Penny by basement 2. Oh cool, I might actually get somewhere with this run, right?
Except no because The ShitStain is the boss for Caves 1. It's actually impressive how much this game can shit in my mouth and get away with it
Am I the only one who doesn't find The Stain that terribly difficult? It's easy enough to lure him out to attack without popping up under your butt and his only dangerous move is his bullet hell attack, which just had the pattern of slow->fast then fast->slow and can be dodged with a little skill and luck without too big a problem. Now if there are like, 2-3 of him, then you're in trouble without OP build.
Now the Bloat, on the other hand
Maybe it's just because I'm used to stuff like ikaruga, but yeah, stain's pattern doesn't look THAT bad. It's one of the ones you can just quickly flick yourself left and right to avoid.
Bloat's a run killer for weaker characters for sure though. Huge hitboxes plus creep that covers half the room the moment the fight starts is rough, especially if you can't fly.
Stain's pattern isn't bad on its own. But he's like magnemite from pokemon. Get 3 of him together in the greed room and he evolves into shitstain.
One or two of them lock you down with bullet hell while the rest saunter up to your safe area and ruin everything.
ugg when you accidentally pick up missing no when you get two steam sales and the recycle shop item in hush hush zone. I got the keys to kick satan, but I got too many items and once I moved on to the chest I ran out of items.
This game's always been at its best when you look at it and you don't know what the holy hell is happening, but you're still impressed.

One of the reasons I keep coming back to this game honestly.
