Then I might actually consider taking it. It's way too risky even in the new form.
Do good devil or angel rooms even fucking exist in Greed seriously. For devil rooms I've gotten red chest and black heart, three red chests, two black hearts, two runes, and Krampus. For Angel rooms I've gotten three soul hearts, two soul hearts and a gold heart, and one eternal heart. A reminder I playing Lost so almost all of the above is fucking useless.

God why is Chaos a straight up not working item in greed mode. I've picked it up numerous times in regular Issac so I expected a lot from it in Greed mode. A few dozen Breakfast encounters later I was cursing the Nicalis team for allowing me to pay 15 pennies for an item that does nothing but ruin my run.
My friend and I came up with the idea that you could take devil deals that go beyond your max hp, but then you have the Lost's health (eg no heart containers permanently). Normally not a great tactic but it's just an extra strategic option for people who like playing risky.
It was like that in the Flash version, maybe in rebirth at launch, I don't remember. It was really powerfull.
things that are cool: sacrifice rooms getting buffed things that are not cool: removing the small chance of getting lucky and getting a chest from your first hit to just getting a single coin, warping you to the dark room without your consent or being ready thought it was gonna give me a trapdoor, not just a fade to pixel-black. daily run got fucked because of that, lol [QUOTE=_Kilburn;49306676]I thought they fixed this a long time ago. For all the talk about what afterbirth did wrong, I gotta give a shoutout to one of my favorite simple additions this patch: The conjoined transformation. They took items that people hate and consider useless like brother bobby and the rest of those weak as fuck babies (excluding the fly spitting one because he owns) and made it so if you collect enough of them, you basically get a free triple shot of sorts. I've gone from not using them because they're useless to not using them because they aren't worth the risk of ruining my run.
It will only teleport you to Dark Room on your twelfth sacrifice, right after spawning Gabriel.

Really hope the modding API is flexible. I'd like to create a small total conversion mod, but some of the things I'm thinking about might not be possible to do.
So in my frustration in beating Greed mode as Lost, the very first enemy that spawns breaks a rock and makes a trap door. You can find Dead cat in the caves devil room, Rune Bag in the depths, Guppy by the womb, and a Jera rune drop by the rune bag in sheol, which when combined with all of the above, can be used to buy out the item pool in the shop. Then again I suppose that was the point.

Thing is, alot of item pools are small(secret room(only cube of meat),shop etc.) so you will be ending up breakfasting alot due to depleted item pools. It doesn't actually MIX item pools.
Holy shit, the Keeper actually becomes bearable after unlocking the Wooden Nickel for him. It really should have just been default rather than an unlock. He still has some major problems though, like how he can't get the effects of Health Ups but can still get a Health Down or Bad Trip pill, and the fact that you can't ever really take any Devil Deals with him.

He should be able to take them normally, either for free like the Lost or at the cost of something else. Many people have suggested making them buyable like store items and that would work thematically with his focus on money.
people are getting better and better at the game to where lost isn't enough. heap of the keeper on the keeper works really well.

Pretty sure that the Negative got buffed. In my fresh save, I only have it available and I've noticed a staggering amount of dark hearts spawning when I kill things. It's pretty great in fights with spawned mook enemies like Hush or Mega Satan.
