This mod makes afterbirth look like a joke. Kinda disgusting really. I hope they get paid well.
I'm about to drop some Antibirth spoilers, so if you wanna figure out stuff on your own I advise you don't read what's below.
[sp]Alright, I've been replaying Antibirth since it's fun but me and a friend of mine can't seem to get to the final chapter the website mentions.
There are 3 new chapters you can get from the start. Atm I forgot the names of the first 2 but the important one here is Mausoleum, the 3rd one.
On Mausoleum II, I've noticed there's a teleporter that brings you to a new area in the same chapter that you couldn't access otherwise (unless you use telepills or something like that, not sure.)[/sp]

[sp]Anyways, I've explored this entire chapter twice and I've come across these 2 rooms that were the exact same on both tries.[/sp]

[sp]Unfortunately as you could see on the Room B picture, I messed it up by extinguishing 2 of the fires. I don't think I would have been able to solve it anyways since I had Brimstone.
Generally speaking tho, I'm 99% sure whatever this final chapter is it has something to do with these 2 rooms.[/sp]
TLDR: [sp]There's a secret teleported area on Mausoleum II, and there's 2 rooms on Mausoleum II that probably have a puzzle attached to them. I believe this could be the method to achieve the new final chapter.[/sp]
How 2 get to final chapter:
[sp]On downpour II: look for room with four fires and nothing in it. On the minimap it will say there's a stone chest in it. Bomb the center of the room and grab Knife Piece 1
On Mines II: look for the empty room with four buttons. Look on the ground by the buttons: there should be a number of pebbles by each button (1, 2, 3, and 4). Press them in the ascending order based on the number of pebbles by them and grab knife piece 2
On Mausolleum: go to the room with the multiple teleporters in a patter. MEMORIZE OR WRITE DOWN WHICH TELEPORTERS ARE GLOWING AND WHICH ARE NOT. Go to the corresponding fire room with the same pattern and PUT OUT THE FIRES ON SPACES WHERE THE TELEPORTERS WERE NOT GLOWING. Grab knife piece 3.
You will now have a knife familiar that you can fire like bobs brain.
Fight mom- after killing her a red fleshy door will appear. Throw the knife at it to open it and go in.
From there it's pretty obvious what to do. Have fun!![/sp]

And once you do that, you don't have to do it again. The stuff remains in the rooms on subsequent runs.
I just got back into BoI:Afterbirth trying to 100% chars. Does anyone else feel that Lazarus is extremely underpowered compared to other characters? I literally just sit there pressing r unless i have a treasure room with a good item next to the spawn point to have a medium run.
God DAMN Lategame afterbirth is hard. It makes Hush look like a cakewalk by comparison in terms of bullet hell-y-ness. I go in with plenty of firepower but unless I also have something like Infamy or a bunch of bullet absorbing orbitals I'm fucked by the time I reach Mom's heart v2

Apparently there was a 3rd secret character planned for Antibirth similarly to Lost and Keeper, but they shelved her for now due to not enough time making the character fun enough.

Holy fuck what a ride.
I fucked up in Mines II and got to the door to Mausoleum without soul hearts since I lost all of them fighting the boss. While going around the map looking for anything that could get me the missing soul hearts, I bought a pill in the shop looking for Balls of Steel. It ended up being a Telepills that took me to an I AM ERROR room that contented the R key allowing me to go back to square one. Basically from there I used The Left Hand to get Contract From Below along with Humbleing Bundle to get shittons of Red Chests and items. Ended up blazing through the rest of the run with Guppy, 0 red hearts, and a ton of Soul Hearts.
ETL9 SX3H was the seed. No guarantees you'll get the same run but it's worth a shot.

Antibirth has the passion Afterbirth lacked severely.
Kilburn claims there hasn't been any contact between Nicalis and the Antibirth devs since Edmund tried to reach out to them via Twitter, so take Edmund's earlier tweet with a grain of salt.

Why are people so down on Afterbirth/Afterbirth+/Edmund?
Like I get that Afterbirth wasn't amazing, but it really wasn't that bad either. People seem to be getting really pissy about it.

Honestly, I can see why people are pissy about Afterbirth/+/Edmund because some of the content in the DLC should've just been part of an update to Rebirth. For example, there are some items that have synergies that aren't available in Rebirth originally or bugfixes which could've been easily patched in, or how Afterbirth + is yet another DLC you have to buy in order to receive fixed or updated content plus the mod tools.
Whatever helps someone cheese out the most money, I suppose.
