I blame the Echo Chamber. Once something gets successful and popular these people stop listening to opinion's other than their own. Tim Schafer, George Lucas and now Ed, all surrounding themselves with people, who either won't think critically or are too afraid to speak up.

I get the impression this update was meant to be more of a collection of developer built mods to promote/kickstart the official mod support that was meant to be the main attraction, but if that was the case it brings it to question where they got the audacity to charge so much for it.

Had it been like $1.99 or something, I think things would be different. But 6.66 and 9.99 is full fledged expansion pricing, and it just doesn't deliver.

I still hesitate to jump ship and get a refund right away. I'd like to believe that modders will be able to make the game a lot more fun. I'm not happy to be paying for that possibility, but if it pays off, it pays off. These developers have just gotten so out of touch in making a lot of these changes. They don't like the fact that people reset the game repeatedly to roll a better item room? A good developer would make a change to the mechanics, maybe re-balance the game so that players don't need/want to use that kind of exploit. You don't just [b]punish[/b] people for playing the game in a way you don't like.

However if the Antibirth team released their tools and they were superior, then honestly I think it has nothing going for it...all the neat stuff in AB+ could just be added into Antibirth over time.

I'll have an easier time convincing myself to buy this if someone can mod out the empty item rooms and krampus spinning brimstone attack. But idk what's even possible with these mod tools. Can people just straight up remove shit from this dlc?
