What does jacob's ladder even do? Never seen it yet, mistakenly purchased the regular ladder once hoping it was my new shiny item.
Makes your tears spawn a few lasers that go into random directions upon impact. Also they hurt you, because no fun allowed.
Antibirth has Holy Mantle unlocked for The Lost from the start, if I recall correctly.
oh yeah, I wanted to get more into Antibirth but for whatever reason it didn't track a ton of progress in Afterbirth, I've completed most characters post it notes with the exception of Maggy and Eden, but in Antibirth like NOTHING was marked off, and it bothered me too mcuh to want to continue playing solution?
As a word of warning, don't pick up Jacob's Ladder and Multidimensional Baby in AB+ atm
It's broken with 20/20 too. Either that or it straight up hurts you normally.
Makes your tears spawn a few lasers that go into random directions upon impact. Also they hurt you, because no fun allowed.
So, is it any reason to use the item?
So, is it any reason to use the item?
pardon me, it happens only with multidimensional baby, normally it's fine
this delirium fight is so badly designed, the stupid fuck teleports all over the place and it honestly seems like edmund wanted it to be a symbolic lore thing, without looking at the gameplay aspect of things
Here's a reference image of the chest changes [t]http://i.imgur.com/n4nRhwg.png[/t]
Here's a reference image of the chest changes [t]http://i.imgur.com/n4nRhwg.png[/t]
Obviously they should use the Dark souls 1 method with a circle chain and loose chain :v:
So, after hundreds of hours playing this game, I notcied something. Some streamers play with a controller. How is it? Is it better? should I play with a controller instead?
So, after hundreds of hours playing this game, I notcied something. Some streamers play with a controller. How is it? Is it better? should I play with a controller instead?
It feels really easy to move Isaac with a controller. My keyboard doesn't let me do more then 3 inputs at once. Any other input just gets ignored, which doesn't let me strafe as good and I get hit by not dodging properly. You can also move slower with him. The controller made so many runs possible for me.
Controlling Isaac with a controller feels sluggish and unresponsive for me. It's awful.
So, after hundreds of hours playing this game, I notcied something. Some streamers play with a controller. How is it? Is it better? should I play with a controller instead?
This depends on equipment and what you're used to. Personally i tried, but felt it was much more inaccurate than using a proper mechanical keyboard and didn't make it easier to make circular motions because i was already used to doing it with the keyboard. If you've got a proper controller lying about and a keyboard which doesn't handle multiple inputs well, or generally like controllers better, it's worth a shot though. I don't think there's an objectively correct answer here.
In the time it took for them to reskin every boss sprite for delirium they could've just designed a new boss lol
Controlling Isaac with a controller feels sluggish and unresponsive for me. It's awful.
personally, epic fetus is orders of magnitude better when you use the mouse to target instead of the keyboard or controller
There's a new item that works much better with the Joystick. Allows for much more precise firing.
personally, epic fetus is orders of magnitude better when you use the mouse to target instead of the keyboard or controller
Oh god I never thought about this
Looks like my run did not save after the crash. All i did was pressing a button in the secret room in the[sp]Void room[/sp] as Isaac. Usually it would just restart to the start of that room you recently went to, but not this time... This is fucking retarded.
I got dad's [sp]coin[/sp] during lost soul run in greedier mode I got gnawed leaf, I was happy because I also had the leech. During a devil deal a floor down I got black powder and empty soul, my strategy became stand still until I get shields, when having shields create pentagram. flawless victory.
Here's a reference image of the chest changes [t]http://i.imgur.com/n4nRhwg.png[/t]
Looks like the mimic ones also have 2 grey squares on the front that normal chests dont, apart from the color difference
Just had bighorn and little horn appear at the same time in the cave boss room. Standard size, absolutely ridiculous
personally, epic fetus is orders of magnitude better when you use the mouse to target instead of the keyboard or controller
i get around that issue by never picking up epic fetus
Just had bighorn and little horn appear at the same time in the cave boss room. Standard size, absolutely ridiculous
One of big horns (rare?) attacks is to summon little horn :v:
So I've been putting more time into Antibirth (when I first booted it up, I beat [sp]The Witness[/sp] for the first time and haven't really touched it much since then) and the amount of love and effort that's put into it is really blowing me away. All the new content is so well made, it's like playing original game for the first time. I honestly feel like Antibirth is the definitive version of the game - and I'm not just saying that as a part of the (justified) Afterbirth/Afterbirth+ hate bandwagon. I honestly liked Afterbirth, all things considered, but I think that while Antibirth doesn't have as much content, the content it does have is so much more creative, fun, and interesting than AB/AB+.
So I've been putting more time into Antibirth (when I first booted it up, I beat [sp]The Witness[/sp]
[sp]i didn't know that Isaac was into grid puzzles and philosophy[/sp]
another update just came out
another update just came out
Fixes: Reverted the steam cloud saving change from yesterday due to reports of the game being unable to find its save data if cloud saving was turned off Fixed a crash releated to having multiple trinkets Fixed a bug where the unlock checks for Ending 19 and Final were reversed in the cutscene menu Gameplay adjustments Modding: Some changes were made to Lua sandboxing due to security concerns. Here's how they affect you: If you used require("mobdebug").start() in your mods, that should be replaced with StartDebug() to prevent your script from hitting an error, since that only works with --luadebug enabled. This means you'll have to update any lua mods you've released with that line left in. We're very sorry for the inconvenience! For now we strongly recommend running workshop mods only with --luadebug disabled. This recommendation may be retracted in a later update. See the debugging page in the tools/luadoc documentation for a tutorial on setting up the debugger. Fixed const-ness of player entity passed to certain callbacks Fixed an issue where a function for getting the screen position of an entity didn't account for the camera offset or screen shake
"gameplay adjustments" What a comprehensive and informative list. Almost as informative as the modding documentation. :downs:
"gameplay adjustments" What a comprehensive and informative list. Almost as informative as the modding documentation. :downs:
vague stuff like that usually gets figured out by the community and listed here http://bindingofisaacrebirth.gamepedia.com/Version_History they'll probably figure out what the 'gameplay adjustments' were as well eventually. would be nice if Nicalis would list it instead and save people the trouble but o well
