Hah
I killed 2nd phase of [sp] the Witness [/sp] without him ever attacking. he was just standing there, all red, awaiting his demise :v:
FYI Eye of Greed is an utterly worthless, potentially run-ruining item. Especially in Greed mode.
doing the ass-backwards challenge. I got greeted by this.

Edmund, Please.
Edit:
i just quit the game and came back and it was fixed thank god.
you need a high enough dps for eye of greed to kick in, good to have a high damaging orbital or contact damage to just go up and ram the frozen guy.

This isn't even difficulty, this is just pissing about.
So wait, when Antibirth adds Afterbirth support, will that include regular Afterbirth on its own or NEED Afterbirth+? Because I really dislike some of the + additions (re: unavoidable damage rooms, half soul hearts, etc).

Why hasn't there been a mod where it removes all of those BS additions in both Afterbirth and Afterbirth+?

I can think of plenty of situations where it is useful, but they all involve already have a good build. And even then Eye of Greed provides only a marginal (and still risky) benefit.

I was wondering why they did that and thought it was a bug.
Seriously, Edmund? Come off it

There's a lot of things in this game that just waste time.
Curse of the maze
Paralysis pills
Champions that repulse tears
Bosses and enemies with invincibility(minus mega satan)
Boss armor

how
how
Having to just sit and wait to deal damage isn't challenging, it's usually just boring and annoying.

This guy can suck my nut.
how
The two main one's I'm talking about are Hush and Rag mega.
Maybe it's a bug, but both of those are only supposed to go invincible when they spawn an enemy. They almost never do that for me. Rag mega just randomly wraps himself up for a few seconds without spawning a ragling. Hush too. He 'hides' himself for a few seconds without spawning anything.
It's sad how much the game has been bogged down with shitty little things that only exist to piss you off. Troll bombs are a cheeky and novel design but now this "item that has the same exact graphic as the normal one but it fucks with you" shit makes me want to bash Edmund over his game-milking-ass head. Just work on mewgenics already and stop making this game even more annoying.

Yeah that enemy is shit but fyi if you're on an op run: even tho he's buried when you first enter the room, he actually can be damaged anyways for like a second before his invincibility kicks in. So if you're super powerful enough you can just kill him real quick.

I knew I wasn't crazy and this was a thing that happened
And since we're still learning things about this game.

So Nicalis revealed a Launch Edition for Isaac: AB+ on Switch. Comes with stickers, reversible cover and exclusive trinkets. It's sitting at $31.99 for Amazon Prime members.

I have an idea of my own.
Body Armor (passive)
Visually it gives isaac some SWAT armor that looks like a halloween costume. Changes all current hearts into armor hearts. and removes isaac's knockback/invis frames.
Armor hearts take 4 hits to empty.
I have an idea of my own.
removes isaac's invis frames.
Reducing the time would be better. By straight up removing them isaac could die within a few frames of touching an enemy.
maybe removing iframes but increasing knockback (does isaac even have knockback?) might be more balanced

Yeah, that's better.
Concept:
"Elijah"
Robot/Golem character
∙ Doesn't have hearts, can't pick up soul hearts or heart containers.
∙ Health is a battery charge, starts with 3 charges + whatever item charge you have.
∙ Each "health" charge can be used to charge an active item.
∙ Each "health" charge is drained fully on taking damage, cannot be reduced by half, so all hits are a "full heart" hit. (you have 3 hits + a fully charged item item)
∙ If health is depleted, item charge can be used as a backup health, will be drained fully on taking damage, resulting in death.
∙ "Recharges" with battery pickups, each battery fills one notch of health charge.
∙ Health charge prioritized over item charge.
∙ Starts with Technology II, but has no additional tears, only the laser.
∙ Cannot gain benefits from any exclusively "normal" tear effects, can only use lasers.
∙ Starts with new active item "Shockwave".
∙ "Shockwave" has four-room charge, when activated, creates a fast spreading laser ring from point of activation, spreads to about the size of a "Lemon Party" creep.
∙ "Health up" Items increase health charge, but health regen items (Yum Heart, Placenta, ect...) Do not regenerate health.
Stats:
HEALTH: 3
DAMAGE: 1
TEARS: +0
SHOT SPEED: 1 (N/A)
RANGE: 1 (N/A)
SPEED: 1
LUCK: 0
START PICKUPS: None
START ITEMS: Technology II, Shockwave
Lore:
In biblical lore, Elijah Ba'al Shem of Chelm was the creator of the first "golem", a clay statue brought to life through the words of god being written into its head. According to the story, after he created the golem, Elijah feared that it would grow too powerful and "destroy the world" somehow, so he removed the words from its head, which turned the golem to dust, but the golem "scratched" Elijah before being destroyed. Something something don't toil in god's domain or something. Basically, A golem is the closest thing the bible has to a "robot", and seeing as the golem itself had no name, I picked Elijah.
Gameplay:
Offense heavy character with limited health and a more scarce than usual health source but a decent offense capability. Also allows you to use the active item charge to gain an extra "hail mary" health point, but forces you to use items more wisely. Also, if you are brazen enough, you can sacrifice hit points to activate your active item multiple times. Also limits your damage output to being lasers, so some items (like Cricket's Body, Split Shot, ect...) Don't work.
I'd draw a design but I'm at my bae's house and forgot to bring my art tablet so use your imagination.
Robot Character Concept
I had the same exact idea for a robot character that uses batteries for health, even down to them being based off of a golem. I really hope someone could make something like this.
hnnnggg started knocking out challenge runs in antibirth. Did the one that requires you to beat the witness, got an XL Mausoleum floor and the hole to get to the corpse never spawned
[t]http://i.imgur.com/J2geOA0.jpg[/t]
so i gave up on the run and started a new normal run to get to the witness, and again got a Mausoleum XL floor which this time resulted in a bugged Mom's heart door that the knife wouldn't open and bombing would just crash the game lol

my luck is fucking incredible god damn. I'm just gonna go ahead and wait for whenever this patch is supposed to drop
So I've got a pretty good run going and I want to go to Delirium. I just beat Hush... And I've been trying to enter this damn portal for the past 10 goddamn minutes.
How do you break something so fucking simple holy shit.

you can't enter the void portal if a familiar is on top of it, i think. it's fucking dumb. try exiting the run and then continuing, it usually helps when that happens to me
