I'm wondering if there's a mod out there that can help me with 2 things.
One is to diversify item icons, because there's a few examples of items I mix up all the fucking time.
Here's a few"
Bloody lust
with Anemic
Common Cold
with Bob's Brain
The other is a minor skin mod to Samson that given him mini abs like his character select art.
there's a mod that puts Bob's brain in a jar, and i'm working on a mod to change bloody lust.

Maybe give Bloody Lust the headband around the blood drop?
Maybe give Bloody Lust the headband around the blood drop?
that's what i'm doing actually :v:
but i'm currently working on other stuff at the moment, so i doubt it will be done anytime soon
dang i swear my theory that staying away from the game for a time guarantees your first run back is fantastic is true.
2 months away and this is what i get (infamy was my first item room, mega mush was my first boss item)
[t]http://puu.sh/gde4R/897645c64e.jpg[/t]
WOW NVM i got something even better.
kamikaze + pyromaniac carried me all the way from the first floor and helped me to beat The Lamb for the first time.
easily the most OP combo i've ever had in game
does picking up goathead in a curse room drastically decrease the possibility of angel rooms? I recall reading it somewhere, but I can't find it again. had a run earlier today where I got goathead in the first cursed room I saw, but only devil rooms popped up, not a single angel room

the goat head won't disable angel rooms from what i've encountered. i picked up the goat head and got an all-angel run. (except floor 2 of course)
The goat head increases the chance of devil rooms spawning and they can just happen instead of angel rooms.

it guarantees a devil/angel room an every floor
some guy replaced all the rocks with ipecap turrets

fucking christ.
Christ indeed. It's like if the Spanish Flu could perform mass carpet bombings.
Satan must REALLY hate Isaac.
I wouldn't mind having this as a challenge.
Is there a bug that randomly gives you the compass effect for a single room? It's super handy when it happens, but I have no idea what causes it.

Liberty Cap did that in OG Isaac because of a typo. The typo mistakenly put the item ID for the Compass instead of the item ID for Magic Mushroom.
Instead of fixing that for Rebirth, it was left in intentionally. Liberty Cap cannot get Magic Mushroom or Blue Cap though due to them simply having ported the trinket's effects instead of keeping it up to date.

I can see trying to get into secret rooms or certain items being an issue if you can't break the turrets. Maybe they turn into rocks or become destroyable after the room is cleared? I think that'd be a fun seed, maybe not a challenge since that could get frustrating.
I still think Acid Tears would be handy for dealing with rocks, even if it's effectively the same as the Stompy effect.

Secret rooms are not able to be adjacent to walls where you'd be boxed in if you were to enter there. Being unable to blow up the grimaces only becomes a problem when it comes to rooms where consumables and an occasional pedestal are behind them.
The real problem comes in rooms where the enemies are blocked behind walls that need to be blown up by nearby TNT barrels.

Playing as The Lost has gained a whole new meaning :v:
or those rooms where you're given bombs because you need to bomb through rocks to get to the other doors

if you accept any devil deal you cannot get any more angel rooms, unless if you have certain trinkets or passive upgrades
Which upgrades/trinkets? Afaik there's no way to get an angel room if you've accepted a devil deal.
im very confused about how luck works.
ive had the same amount of REAL luck with items no matter what my luck stat is. ive even intentionally eaten decrease luck pills to find a change and ive found none.

Luck does not affect what items spawn for you, or payouts of slot machines or shell games. It affects the chances of special tear effects, how quickly beggars/demon beggars/blood banks pay out, and how often chests spawn for you while in the Chest or the Dark Room.
it does affect item drops, at 4 luck you will basically always get keys etc per room (10 in hard mode)
Those are consumables, but otherwise yes.
a good strategy for secret room item hunting? all I'm missing for real platinum god is the broken watch, godhead, transcendence and raw liver
a good strategy for secret room item hunting? all I'm missing for real platinum god is the broken watch, godhead, transcendence and raw liver
there isn't really a pattern for them, but the first one usually spawns between a gap of 2 rooms, and the second spawns close to the boss room. (personal experience, probably not super accurate)
Edit: i think hunting secret rooms with isaac is the best choice, since you get a bomb and you can D6 the item if you have it already
If all spots surrounded by 3 rooms are disqualified by having a side blocked by obstacles, then it will be surrounded by 4, then 2, then 1. Super secret is a tossup somes it's the closest, sometimes it's the furthest, sometimes it's just filling up a blank space or completing a pattern of rooms. When it's closest, keep in mind by actual distance, and not how many rooms you need to travel through.
Another tip is to disqualify any potential secret room space where access on one or more sides are blocked by a pit or rock. It'll never be that spot. Looking in shops regularly will help you find both broken watch and treasure map which will show you all secret rooms
Wait can you only get transcendence in a secret room? Shit dammit I've literally never gotten a single item in a secret room.
Only one I can recall was Missingno. and a Black Lotus. Its so rare you forget they have their own loot pool
I started doing a Binding of Isaac Trading Card Game for a school project, where I need to "mix" two things (In this case, Binding and Magic TG). I developed a card system, where your child act as a hero and a a shield for your life point. There's also a resources system based on the death of your monsters. I don't really plan to make it a real thing (Because I suck at balancing card game), but here's a preview!

After hours of grinding to try to get a Monster Manual-forcing of Meat Boy, the game decided to grace me with a Book of Revelations on Cellar 1. I, being bored of restarting, wanted to play a run so I rolled with it.

Fuck your shit game I'm never getting Meat Boy again. Now I've gotten both MB and BG the normal way and dear god can Conquest go shove a rusty needle up his urethra. For the amount of shit you have to deal with just to get Meat Boy, it'd sure be great if he didn't absolutely suck. Nowhere near worth trying to get more than 2 meat cubes or bandage balls.
