Finally made both a Super Meat Boy and Super Bandage Girl today, and also unlocked Godhead. Today is a good day.

Dying to Issac on the Family Man challenge hurts so much. Why do I need a way to shoot Brimstone lasers to be good at this game?

I had a ??? run last night where I didn't expect to get too far past Mom, but fate smiled and gave me not only Technology early, but also Tech .5 along with various Tears Ups and Damage Ups, turning me into a crazy laser revenant. Various other factors like the Emperor Card allowed me to get to Mom quick enough to engage in the Boss Rush, which is a lot easier with lasers I'll tell ya what. I died in the Womb, yes, but I at least managed to scratch off a goal I never intended to achieve with ???, so that I'll be able to truly fill up my chart on that character like I did with Azazel. Plus I have the Only Friend unlocked so that'll be interesting.

Aaaand another Boss Rush finished thanks to Isaac. Thank god for the Floor 1 knife and Lil' Haunt in the Rush Room.

You have my sympathies for the upcoming Sheol to Dark Room run you'll need to complete that shart. Yep, I'm gonna be just fine getting the others through Boss Rush and waiting for the new character in Afterbirth. Any idea who it'll be? Perhaps it could be Joseph, a character that starts with a technicolour dreamcoat that gives him the rainbow tears. He'll close his eyes and draw back the curtain, to see for certain what he thought he knew...

we still spoilering [sp]mega-satan[/sp]? because i just beat [sp]mega-satan[/sp] for the first time. had a fantastic run as issac w/ the D6 and had Blood Lust from the first treasure room which made me basically samson (my favorite character). got a bunch of good random damage ups, gimpy, triple shot and flat worm, with sacred heart sealing the deal. then had 2 of hearts as a fall back while i was one heart away from the max, tho i never even ended up needing it. that was fun fun FUN. never saw the final cutscene though that was a lot creepier than I expected.

Just witnessed the most depressing thing that can happen. Pretty good lost run going with all 9 cat lives. Curse of the blind and I pick up... Lazarus Rags.......

doesn't D100 items count towards found items? I'm sure I exhausted the item pool as using it didn't give me anything new and all the items from chests in the chest were spacebar items. I still haven't gotten raw liver and godhead even though the pool was exhausted

D100 only pulls from item room items (and maybe boss room items? I don't think so, though)

I find the game gets boring because how often you get bland items over ones with interesting synergies.

I think I've said this many times before, and it's too late anyway, but I still feel like Isaac might benefit from having "subweapons" to vary things up, since most of the time you're just shooting those wee bullets of holy water. Bombs are more of a treasured utility by default, rather than something you throw down in combat as part of your regular strategy, and even with the bomb-altering items a scarcity of bomb pickups could put a damper on the idea of willy-nilly bombing. It'd fit in with Isaac's thing of being based on the old top-down Zeldas, since the Bomb was just one of many items. Hell, there are already many items that could easily function as subweapons, like the Candles, the Boomerang, Butterbean, hell even Breath of Life could technically work in a subweapon slot. I'd genuinely like to see someone try and mod this in to see how it could shake up the gameplay. (possibly bind the "use subweapon" function to Shift or whatever, since that's usually where the pinky falls on the keyboard and it's not used for anything)

Redo Curse of The Lost to give you guaranteed +Health, Beans and The Haunt for that floor.

I just got the best ??? run ever. K4SN HQ6G Holy Mantle on a secret crawl space and sad bombs on the first floor with lots of soul hearts. I got enough to buy Dark Bum. With Holy Mantle Bob's Head, and Bob's Brain (Found in a crawl space near a locked chest in the cathedral) didn't fucked up this run. And i got a very interesting bomb synergy with Cricket's body and Tiny Planet in the Chest. Oh and i found Dad's key here, and totally wrecked MS face. But damn Guppy's tail for teasing me with all those locked and unreachable chests. Keys were rare [editline]8th March 2015[/editline] Now with ??? and The Lost out the way i only have Eve left
