So my first trip(failed ofc) to the dark room was with massive shot speed pholy dr fetus. Apart from not even being able to hit shit, I constantly damaged myself. I don't even know how I made it that far.

hnnng I'm so close to getting Platinum God/Real Platinum God. I just need to unlock Counterfeit Penny and find Missing No., Black Lotus, Raw Liver, and God Head. I tried using the Sharp Plug method but when I got to the Chest I realized I didn't bring the D6 :v: but I didn't find any key beggars so it wasn't that bad. Still going to be a bitch to grind it out.

So presumably one of the new levels is going to be very much hellish. I know I've pondered this before, but how d'you think it'll be accessed? Will it be a random alternative of Sheol/Dark Room, or will you need to have the opposite photo to go there, like carrying Polaroid to Sheol or Negative to Cathedral? Personally I think the second option would be more likely, since there are apparently items associated with different characters completing the new levels. Either way, I can't wait for Afterbirth. Apparently it'll be released in the summertime, though a more thematic release date woulda been around Easter to tie into the whole Rebirth-Afterbirth thing and the connection to Jesus returning to life.

I did it, every single character has every ending. I am really disappointed that judas didn't unlock anything after killing ???, he apparently is supposed to unlock the left hand but I already fucked up countless ultra prides so it was "already done". Now to unlock the lost.

The thing about The Haunt is that his moveset activates randomly and with no telegraphing. If you go to the side of him he does the stupid fucking dash attack that deals one full heart of damage. The best tactics I've found are using bombs to stop him from dashing and sitting on the left side of the room and shooting up until you peck him to death

For big Haunt, I just stay somewhat close in front of him tearing him right after he does an attack, then after a few seconds I back off and spend as little time as front of him as possible in anticipation of the next attack, hitting him with side tears launched at an upward angle. Then when he does an attack I go back to hit him from the front. Never gives me any trouble. it's just the two little haunts at once that can be an issue but then if you just chase them head on into a corner right as they activate, then move along the edge of the map, you can usually take them out pretty easily. Them being pressed against the wall causes their shots to hit the wall instead as well.

I keep getting taken between the wall and the brimstone laser beam. It doesn't belong on cellar 1.

If you hang around along the sides then yeah you'll get pinned down. Fight in the center, and when its been a few seconds since his last attack just keep making quick rushes past him to the other side and hit him with angled side shots.

Plenty of bombs does the trick too, if you're lucky enough to have a spare 4-5. Sometimes pots will be near the top so you can use those for cover when he shoots tears, otherwise it's all just dodging. He's not terrible but he's a pain

I love fighting the Big Haunt in the chest. It's so weak now, it's almost like getting my revenge

So, we have a Key Bum by the looks of it. No idea what Kirby's doing there (possible attack minion?), but the nails in the eyes are pretty damn brutal.

One of Isaac's items is responsible. He came in from the right-hand side (or has at least cleared that room already), so it's not a passive item he had going in that caused it, otherwise it'd have already started to do so. He seems to be walking to the right from the curse room entrance, which leads me to believe that the nails in his eyes are a new passive that lets him stomp on rocks (as the Nail gives you that ability as well), but that's pretty boring since we have 2 items that do exactly that already. Alternatively, the Nail gets buffed to give you passive rock stomping and has a visual effect to coincide with it. Active effect may be changed to compensate. Beggar looks like a shopkeeper to me, so that could be the familiar that you upgrade by plugging more pennies into him. Ghost is a ghost, he's not doing anything so it's hard to tell.

The floating blobs face looks similar to Gurdys.

Apparently the contact damage of Midas Touch is based on the number of coins you have (99 coins = 99 damage). Combine this with Isaac's Heart and you're basically an unstoppable bulldozer [img]http://i.imgur.com/iFe3R8i.gif[/img]

Item Matyr and Blank Card is potentially the most broken combo in the game with the right card. bit strange that mega satan gives nothing except for a different new game image at the end (completed it on hard mode nota bene) also dry baby is probably one of my fav babies cus u can just hide behind it during most boss fights
