Spelunky has daily levels and doesn't have those tags.

I keep thinking up dumb items out of nowhere. [B]GOLD RING[/B] $$$ = ❤❤❤ - Gives 10 coins on pickup. Hearts completely disappear, and when hit, Isaac loses coins similar to greed bullet effect; between one and three coins are destroyed completely, and several more are dropped onto the floor. Getting hit at 0 coins will kill Isaac, and extra lives give +10 coins on respawn Synergizes well with: Money is Power (more power the more health you have) Dollar, Quarter (more health) Sack of Pennies (occasional regen) Lucky Rock (health dropped from every rock destroyed) Piggy Bank, Swallowed Penny, Counterfeit Penny (increased number of coins regained after being hit) Humbling Bundle (increased number of coins regained after being hit, and increased health from all dropped coins; technical immortality) The Lost (all coins are destroyed/dropped on hit rather than just a few, but it gives The Lost an extra hit as long as he has at least one coin)

I wouldn't mind a PVP mode eventually, with two players starting at opposite corners of the same huge floor (the whole map size, with like 20 item rooms and 8 boss rooms), grabbing as much stuff as they can to become as powerful as possible before fighting eachother in the boss rush room, dueling with the builds they managed to get in ten minutes. Could you imagine how fun that would be? A race to see who can get more OP before time runs out. [editline]t[/editline] Players can run into eachother during that time and sabotage one another as well. Lives are infinite during the run but you lose half your items if you die.

PVP would be awful in BOI because the game is one that's entirely reliant on luck. The actual battle would be unrelated to who's the better player but who's got the better items. Like what's the point of even playing when your opponent got Stop Watch in the first shop.

If they get stopwatch and you get mom's knife, ludovico and a ton of shot speed boosts, it's still very much even. Luck works both ways. Besides, the entire point of it would be luck. That's what makes Isaac fun in the first place, the ridiculous stuff you can get at random. [editline]t[/editline] It wouldn't be serious PVP by any means, just something entertaining to do with a friend in short bursts.

I feel like it was just a mistake. I don't know how store pages work but maybe it has check boxes like "Co-op" and they checked it, and then later it said "Local Co-op" and they said "oh it's this one" but then forgot to uncheck the other one. I dunno though. That's probably not how it works.

Anyone else got real platinum god and is eagerly waiting for afterbirth? Agree if you got RPG. Informative for Platinum god and disagree if you don't have either of them.

Pre-ordered Afterbirth, hopefully the base game goes on sale again at some point, want to pick up a copy for a friend

Personally I'm not playing as the lost until then. Spectral tears will make it at least a little easier to survive in the earlier portions, and the D4 seems like it could make playing the character fun versus just frustrating all the time.

I just use a run editor to add in Holy Mantle. You're going to just endlessly reset until you get it. Why waste the time?

I just quit the game when I died and then I was able to restart the floor where I last died over and over. It ended up being pretty chill. Just killed the lamb after picking up dead cat as samson this run, goes to show, even if you get the body, then ruin it entirely, things can work out.

Will it let achievements and unlocks work? What's stopping anyone from just beefing up the Lost with highest damage, tears and luck and going from there?
