Donation machines really need to jam at <10 coins less often. Having to spend a key to access them only to deposit two coins blows.

Also guarantee at least one key per floor. Please. I'm not kidding when I say I've had three runs so far where no keys spawned from anything until necropolis (if ever before the womb), meaning I only ever got to access at most two item rooms, being the first and last one, and missed out on every shop, vault and gold chest along the way.

Now imagine this scenario before they patched hard mode. It used to reduce ALL drops. You were lucky to get into like 3 treasure rooms in a single run.

I haven't tried it for myself because I'm waiting until I 100% afterbirth, but considering it's the top-rated mod on Modding of Isaac, I would assume [url=http://moddingofisaac.com/mod/102/thebindingofisaacgodmode]Godmode[/url] is pretty good.

To my knowledge it doesn't reroll your items per-say, but just disables some of your old ones and gives you new ones. Meaning if you push it too far you'll wear down all the items and just get nothing.

Every single run I find libra - one of my favorite items - in the first item room, I always end up getting a first boss that deals full heart damage like headless horseman.

This is especially terrible if I happen to be playing judas.

Also, you know that one 2x2 room in the caves with the four walking hosts and four turrets? Yeah fuck that room. It's killed three separate runs, two as blue baby and one as judas.

When all four of them are there it's totally random whether or not you'll be able to hit them because they constantly cover eachothers' patterns, and you've got obstructions and the turrets to limit where it's safe to stand and shoot them as they're walking towards you, so without flight or a really good synergy that room is brutally hard.

libra is my favorite basement 1 item, every boss room stats up you get translaes into all other stats up so you basically gradually transform into a winning DPS machine, plus the +6 to all pickups for your pickup needs

Libra as first item plus roid rage as your first boss item gives you pretty much everything you need to survive up to necropolis.

Well one thing to remember is when the game is starting out, all(I think?) of the alt floors are not unlocked, and the game is actually easier too so yeah. Like for instance I made a super meat boy immediately on the 3DS and someone had told me it's because conquest isn't unlocked at first so he won't fuck you over.
