The latter two screenshots however, I can't speak for and frankly I'm concerned about.[/QUOTE] Yeah I played God Mode a while back and I found it lacking, it was extensive and well made but it has some real issues with damage (monsters being so deadly a character that had 6+ hearts to start + yum heart is still underpowered), plus most of the playable characters are.... confused? None of them seemed to have a theme or particular playstyle connected with them, which sorta fitted with the mod in general. From the redone Overly satanic intro that ruined the atmosphere to the new soundtrack that somehow just didn't work, the entire mod just didn't mesh with me and supplanted the atmosphere BoI had with some overly satanic attempt at edgyness (Yes they somehow made BoI even more satany). tl;dr Give it a try, but be aware that it has some issues

I played Godmode for a bit. It's loaded with pointless visual effects, over-the-top boss battles and pretty much everything is so in-your-face. And that's sort of good, it reminds me of those old ROM hacks. I used to download a ton of Super Mario World rom hacks and marvelled at all the different things their creators managed to change.

I played Godmode for awhile too, and while you seem positive about it, I am not. I think it's a big pile of crap. Especially after reading the "lore" about all the bosses and characters on the reddit, it all just seems like edge-tastic emo teenager angst made into a mod.

So a few weeks ago I was working on a mod that added a good number of new rooms to the cathedral, but was unable to get any of them to show up. Returning to the project yesterday and doing a few more tests I discovered that the chapter was only loading room layouts that had "difficulty" set to 5. Meaning that of the 185 rooms that were created for cathedral, only ~71 were being used. For reference as to how little that number is, the basement/cellar has 568. I skipped to the end of a few of Northernlion's latest videos to make sure this wasn't only happening to me and sure enough, it wasn't. This seems to have been brought about by one of the later updates, as I remember coming across several of the now unused rooms before, and Northernlion's older videos of Rebirth show them off as well. Changing the difficulty for all of the rooms to 5 fixed the problem. I've never heard any reference to rooms being missing from chapters before and I wasn't able find anything on the Binding of Isaac subreddit, so hopefully this is new information. Daily Specials are a thing. They are themed daily runs that are curated and will override the random pick of the day that the daily server will invariably use for this purpose. They can range from a visual filter or general change, specific starter kits, or special challenges. Expect major holidays, birthdays of Ed or industry people, and etc.

Ever since Wrath of the Lamb I thought that was out of place. It's just an image file. It can't be that hard to add. She said it was done and at the time she said that they were still showing off that ugly re color. They should've waited a bit longer instead of making their own considering how far off release was at the time, but who knows maybe it was something to do with the console releases. I still find it hard to believe they couldn't just use the one she made. It's so good.
