The mod creator could probably work for Nicalis, just don't let him put in his own ideas. :v:

Why write your own lore when there's so much more fucked up stuff still left un-referenced in christian texts? Like, I really don't get it. That's the primary theme of the game. The closer you adhere to that, the more your mod fits in.

I'd rather not start off the expansion with poring over doing nothing productive while simultaneously not knowing which items do what and which ones cost health and commit suicide that way. Plus the inclusion of new enemies and bosses makes approaching them with a 1-hit character into the worst idea possible, since learning their pattern won't happen until you do a few runs.

Just realised Afterbirth will be released at the exact time I expect to get home tonight. And then I've got a week long break where I have nothing better to do than to play the game. Sweet.

There are four pickup types that are 100% worthless to the lost, going a whole floor without getting a single actually usable drop is agonizing. Reduce the D20's charge time to four rooms, and tweak it so that hearts will never re-roll into other hearts, and you've got a very helpful lost item. [editline]t[/editline] D4 is nice but there's always the chance of it permanently re-rolling actually useful item slots into health, or presenting you with a loadout that can kill you when you attack. In my experience that dice backfires horribly more often than it helps if used in necropolis/depths onward.

of course Im expecting the dlc to drop later. Remember the mini-shitstorm that happened on release day of Rebirth when it came out a little late?

Guess what helped me manage to get enough to buy Afterbirth, those fucking Gargoyle Crates from TF2, thank god for that crappy ass economy. Bought a few off of people who didn't want them and sold them on the market for like 70p each.

This also means you can write a review if you bought it, which leads to people crying on the Steam page.

From what I can get from Reddit, Tyrone set the game to released status at the end of his most recent stream,thinking that would let people access it. Steam didn't like that. I'd expect more technical problems down the line. Anything can happen at this point.

for the main digital distribution platform steam seems really easy to break
