Y'know, even if you were to trick the "credit check" boss before ultra greed and [sp]hush[/sp], the actual boss could read how quickly you do, say, 200 damage, and quietly adjust its health accordingly. It would keep re-adjusting if it notices you're suddenly doing more than that initial check as well, so there would be no reliable way to lie to it.

We're at the point where fun sherlocking is happening to try and figure out how to unlock the rest of the material. It's so exciting but so complex.

It would be really clever if unlocking certain things or performing certain actions would trigger the game to write additional content clientside, filling in the gaps and seeming to create new items out of nowhere. IE, some assets exist, but they're incomplete, and some other parts of the game's code know how to complete them once certain conditions are met, making datamining ineffective as you can't see what hasn't been written to the files yet. Think of it like this: a complete value in the item is "#FF021046", but only #FF0 is present, making the value appear to be garbage when looked at objectively. However, five other parts of the code each know one of the remaining numbers and how/when to use it. Their held values also appear to be arbitrary if seen without context, but when the time is right, they submit their values to this designated line and suddenly a piece of new content appears where there previously was only garbage.

It's a really common bug with Lilith when you spawn too many familiars.

There's also a gap in character IDs between Lilith and Random. [sp]Keeper: Innate triple-shot Maximum of 2 heart containers. Soul hearts and Black hearts cannot be interacted with. Heart drops are instead turned into friendly flies. Money pickups act as healing. No art nor text assets. Only thing is his will that revealed the name. No in-game achievement hooks for clearing its post-it. Meeting requirements just brings up a blank secret card. Literally no health. Picking up healing items kills him. Lost has half a soul heart but it's hidden from view.[/sp]

recently, edmund [URL="https://twitter.com/edmundmcmillen/status/661341501566222336"]tweeted out an "afterbirth code"[/URL] except it was 13 digits, and steam codes are 15 digits turns out it wasn't a code, but an imgur url, with "x0109x" added to the end: [t]http://i.imgur.com/UM3lm4N.png[/t] "109" seems to be a significant number with whatever weird secret ARG is happening with afterbirth, since the greed donation machine explodes at that number people have also pointed out that the lost was discovered 109 hours after the release of rebirth things appear to be happening!
