I don't know if late but [sp]according to the OST the secret area where you fight The Hush in is called "Dead Womb"[/sp]
never mind i'm a god at this game lmao [T]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/398926735118771325/3AE74FEFD5C2016C9CB02420296F9A13BCB24399/[/T] it's like they wanted me to have it
So I just beat Greed Mode as the lost. With a chaos card of course. I honestly don't see any other way of beating [sp] Hush [/sp] as the Lost either. He has way too much HP to be defeated the legit way.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/9sHwNru.png[/t] think this is the smallest i've ever managed to make issac
What caused the tremendous loss in size?
What caused the tremendous loss in size?
They added pills which make you smaller and larger.
They added pills which make you smaller and larger.
Interesting, sounds like it's tim for me to buckly down and find some, I want to try them out.
So, I just had one of those delicious OP runs today. This is still the first floor and I already have 5 Black Soul hearts. Also, remember how I was bitching that [sp]Hush[/sp] kicked my ass? Yeah, I got better. Boss Spoiler: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/401178534932529922/C4D332BD11E27297DF079BEBBEA4ABBBB8DB8576/ Lastly, items and the seed: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/401178534932530035/54FA5695FD6AFA0C91BC00F3F08A74EA928674BD/[/t] Bonus (Ending Spoiler): http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/401178534932530104/02DDE1525FD0C8CF3DCCB0EA8C82886926D74ECC/ [sp]Ending 17 get[/sp]
I enjoy completely breaking the game in greed, especially when that item that randomly selects abilities at the start of a floor. Unfortunately it seems to make it unable to load the final floor without crashing

So I was dicking around a bit after beating ultra greed seeing if there was something more to be done and just as I decided nothing was going to happen and went to the chest, everything started rumbling, but I didn't get to see what was happening since I touched the chest just as it was happening. That never happened to me before and I haven't been able to replicate it. [editline]3rd November 2015[/editline]
holy fuck speed is hard
I ended up fighting the blighted ovum on that challenge and he was literally impossible to get away from.
Yeah, so if you're doing Blue Bomber, don't pick up Car Battery, the only thing it doubles is the cooldown on Kamikazi.
no such thing as glitter cluster bomb overkill
Remember when Isaac lagged whenever there was more than six fires on screen?
I ended up fighting the blighted ovum on that challenge and he was literally impossible to get away from.
I got lucky with that one, I happened to pick up a tar ball and some speed upgrades, so my speed was just about equal to his if I CONSTANTLY moved. But then it became like a game of Snake, where I had to avoid walking anywhere I'd already walked, AND dodge the brimstone shots.
I found another gamebreaker with glam bombs+ dr. fetus and a restock machine. Get 15 pennies, reroll with bombing fetus to get exactly what you want, like, say, quad shot, pyromainiac, cricket's head, 20/20, fire mind, and enough firepower to level a floor whilst literally covering it with bombs. Either way Doc Fetus is a one-item greedbreaker and I'm glad it's not shit now.
Probably a bit late to the discussion, but I'm fine with Ed withdrawing the content until the community solves the secret. It's not like the whole DLC is being withdrawn - if you don't like ARGs, you can just play the game and wait until everything is solved.
As far as I know, the [sp]Monstro before Ultra Greed[/sp] and the [sp]??? before Hush[/sp] are actually a way for the game to measure your build's power, so if you just straight up one shot the "test fights" before the actual boss, then they're gonna have a lot more health than they usually would if you had an average build.
I experimented with this and came to the conclusion that it doesn't work like this. [sp]I was playing Lilith and I had some damage ups + Habit + 9 Volts. I went into Monstro and only used 1 Incubi to defeat him. I then proceed to go into Ultra Greed's fight and get hit on purpose to spawn a shit ton of Incubis (I'd say it was around 12), but after I started shooting I noticed that after a few seconds it looked like Ultra Greed adjusted his tankiness and withstood the damage more. I do believe that Monstro/Blue Baby do give the boss an idea of what you're capable of, but I think it also becomes aware when you start attacking it during the fight as well.[/sp] [editline]3rd November 2015[/editline] In short, you can't cheese it unless it's within those few seconds.
Marked + super fetus is really powerful and I think it fires faster then manually. Also mom's purse + tape worm + whip worm + continuum = chance to see one tear go really far
Those goddamn Brimstone/Laser-eyes from the Womb are the worst. And don't even get me started on the spinning immortal Brimstone-eyes from Sheol. They also love to hang out with walking Host's who refuse to pop out of their bodies. Assholes
Is there any news with this whole puzzle-pieces thing or was it just a ploy??
does the Inner Eye work with Monstro's Lungs?
What caused the tremendous loss in size?
two "one makes you small" pills + caffeine pill + binky
You know, that whole thing with [sp]the keeper getting a fly for every useless heart he picks up[/sp] would be nice for the lost or blue baby.
It would be nice if they finally buffed the Lost so he can be playable. (But that's the point of Lost, he's suppose to be the hard character) I wouldn't mind this if you didn't need to win runs as him to unlock items.
I got some Oculus Rift -looking thing that shot round laser-balls or whatever that did damage completely randomly. Sometimes if I shot a fully charged shot into a group of enemies, it hit SOME of them. Sometimes it hits nothing in its path at all. Sometimes a single uncharged shot obliterates a boss by hitting constantly while passing through the said boss. What gives?
You know, that whole thing with [sp]the keeper getting a fly for every useless heart he picks up[/sp] would be nice for the lost or blue baby.
I read it as [sp]spawning a black fly instead of hearts[/sp]. Is that correct?
spiders are the worst fuckin enemies in this game and nothing else can convince me otherwise
Brimstone ghosts
I read it as [sp]spawning a black fly instead of hearts[/sp]. Is that correct?
No, I mean [sp]keeper's perk, which is any type of heart (useless to him) becomes a blue fly when picked up instead[/sp], which would be nice for lost and blue baby too.
It would be nice if they finally buffed the Lost so he can be playable. (But that's the point of Lost, he's suppose to be the hard character) I wouldn't mind this if you didn't need to win runs as him to unlock items.
I think it's funny that because of expansions to the base game they had to make a completely new character to take the spot as the "hard" character because Blue Baby just got better and better with each passing expansion. I remember when I felt like the shit because I beat It Lives as Blue Baby in Vanilla Isaac (AKA no Polaroid), now it's super easy.
I usually don't cheat at this game but I really have no reservations about quick save+loading when I'm playing as Lost in greed mode and I keep fucking dying due to telefrags from spawning enemies. God that was so annoying lmao but I ended up wrecking ultra greed after that.
