Patch just dropped. No official word yet on what it does. "Dollar, quarter and Money=Power no longer show up the additional text in the item page" and the ultra greed fight is being reported as having alt fights now, like one that's just four greeds. May just be bugs tho?

FYI, Midas Touch rendering Ultra Greed super susceptible to damage via ignoring his innate resistances is no longer a thing.

Onan's Steak is absolutely horseshit. So many fucking items become run enders. Serpent's Kiss! Rad! Get unlucky and go whole floors without somone dropping a Black Soul Heart, then get Cursed Eye by accident. Go again? 3 Dollar Bill. Get ready for some random ass piercing tears or triple shot Try again? Yeah, Ipecac! Get stuck with a ton of flies in a 2 x 1/2 room and blow myself up. Pyromaniac! Finally something to keep me alive! Randomly get hit by a random champion spider that does 1 whole heart of damage and die instantly. It's so shitty you have to be Judas and just die all the time. I can't even bring myself to try again, I'm too salty. It's finally my turn to say "Edmund, you can kiss my hairy left nut"

Also a nifty update to Greed Mode. Ultra Greed gets way more aggressive in the final stretch of the fight. Plus the odds of jamming the machine is shown to the player now. Instead of 1 penny being a 1% increase, it's more akin to 5 coins being a 1% increase. I don't have exact numbers to back that up, but I noticed it steadily increasing as I dumped my entire coin cache into it without it jamming.

is it just me or do the heart coins pop and heal ultra greed way faster? also the plain coins seem to have a health buff

Yeah, all his spawned coins took me a lot longer to kill post patch, and the heart ones especially were tough to kill before they healed him.

Honestly they should just revert Azazel back to what he was. I still think nerfing him at all is stupid, I didn't pay for one of my favorite characters to get ruined after a year of playing Rebirth. It would have made sense back when Rebirth was new and getting patches, but not now.

It's not always Monstro prior to Ultra Greed now. That or they replaced him. I ended up fighting two Super Greeds instead (And got a Quarter off them :v:)

Onion is easier then the guardian, have to know how to use the spear when switching between blocking brimestone blasts (oh yes, I've done it) and rush back when your heart is close to a threat. Best solution I found was be aggressive while keeping an eye out for your heart.

The ideal onan build is proptosis + pupula. Huge waves that make it virtually impossible to miss, and they're spectral too.

I somehow beat onans with double shot, the number 2 diaper, and bobs brain. I guess I probably have the resistance rune to thank.

Is it just me or is [sp]Ultra Greed[/sp] really fucking mad since the last patch?

I dunno if anyone has talked about Bumbo yet, but he's probably one of the most entertaining items that I've encountered in this game. He starts out as a Beggar head, and after you let him collect 6 coins he gains a body and starts to crawl around the room, another 6 coins later he can now fire tears in the same direction you do. Another 12 coins afterwards he'll stop firing tears, and instead start chasing enemies and doing contact damage, sometimes dropping bombs that will damage the enemies. I lost all patience for The Lost earlier so seeing him single handedly murder an Eye Turret with a bomb because he couldn't attack while I chilled with Gnawed Leaf was fucking hilarious. That and he actually managed to kill It Lives, and [sp]Hush[/sp]. Bumbo is amazing.
