You gotta upload all your games to hotslogs and then post your link. I need to see what kind of things you do to lead up to posts like this. :v:

The game before this one I had almost 75k damage and my team threw and we lost in one push.
It was pretty fucking awful.

Actually I didn't play much but I still lost five before I got my one.
Tonight I learned I suck at sgt hammer and that i shouldn't play her but man she's so fun.
This is still the single dumbest fucking system in the game, hands down. No proper stealth detection, you just need to look real hard.
After a week or so of play I can't not spot them. The second they appear inside my field of vision I do something to unstealth them. The only advantage stealth has against me is no minimap icon.
Does uploading to hotslogs do anything other than add to their sitewide stats? I've also noticed their profile stats aren't even close to current for me.

Uhm.

Game clearly has matchmaking. Shit like that happens way too often.

The average pub game of Dota 2 is a landslide in one direction or the other. It's going to be the same for HotS.

I still don't know if those Sonya Fury nerfs were justified, but she got out of the last patch as one of the stronger Warriors since everyone but her and ETC suck now and it is super fucking fun. Hardened Shield is a fucking amazing talent too.

I used the program but they still seem to be slightly off.
Man, I just had a Tychus say Odin was never good and now it is total crap which is a statement that makes my head hurt. By the end of the game he had half of our Nazeebos damage and was like "I don't understand!" I dunno, maybe Odin.
Gotta say. Game is pretty fun.
Gotta break out of some Dota habits when I play it but that's easy enough to do.
When I stop playing this game and go play Dota, I still try to do the Diablo-mouse thing. :v:
gazlowe is fun as fuck
Which ult is generally picked on him? A friend of mine told me his gravity bomb is never picked in his games, but why?
Gravity bomb is fucking amazing. If you get a good tnt + grav bomb off you instantly win a fight.
I think I need to team up with people to play this game, trying to play this with pubbies gives me the same annoying vibe as smite. I Like the game play mechanics but losing because of incompetent team mates pisses me off after a while and takes away from any possible fun.
Last game I played, half the team were ignoring any pings on the map, not helping against the seige monsters and where the entire enemy team were shitting all over our defences. Even when it came down to time to defend the core, I was alone -_-

Strange, I almost never see Robo-Goblin taken unless people are still talent-locked.
Neither are inherently bad though, it just depends on whether you want to focus pushing or helping team fights, and generally the latter is preferable.
Yeah, I think I am done trying to play Naz. I just don't know how to make him feel effective. I could play Hammer instead and just rock faces all game with Napalm but Naz is like fucking weird. I don't like him.

I think a lot of it is how his spells feel vs what they actually do.
"Oh great I just threw some tiny ass spiders at that kid. I'm sure that'll do a lot of damage."
"Oh and my other skill just makes frogs slowly walk at people, super."
But then you get a couple talents and holy bejeezus those things hurt. I'm always surprised when I get top damage on him every game because I constantly feel like a useless sack of crap.
Pretty stupid that Blizzard saw fit to give Kerrigan a finely outlined ass and infested heels. I love butts as much as the next guy, but come on.
Game clearly has matchmaking. Shit like that happens way too often.
do you mean bad matchmaking?
no matchmaking would mean public server browser style matches (which is pretty bad for not-so-casual competitive games like lots of MOBAs)
matchmaking which picks players/stacks with regard to "skill" aims to avoid stuff like one team being grossly more experienced/"skilled"/better at the game than the other
the alternative being picking teams randomly, where you'd be lucky to have any similar experience levels between players
what the hell
Looking at a "tier list" and murky is on the same tier as gazlowe
what the fuck, how is gazlowe bad
:(
His only bad skill is his laser

Yeah, that was sarcasm. The matchmaking is awful.

my sarcasm detector is useless at 4am please send reinforcements
does HotS use a similar matchmaking system to DOTA2 etc? hidden ELO or some other form of MMR assigned to each player?

I think it does.
People aren't lying when they say games are either stomp or get stomped. Maybe 1 or 2 out of 10 games is anywhere near close.
Sidenote: I can't decide who to buy. I'm at 7k right now and thinking about Arthas or Kerrigan (or even Gazlowe and someone else cheap), but I could save up 3k more and get Thrall or Zeratul or someone.
Man I can't wait for free Illidan week to be over.

New rotation starts tomorrow I believe.
I'm twisted about Jaina. When she was freeweek I tried to play her as a burst assassin with mediocre success. She could burst but only in almost melee range, she could only kill squishies that way and afterwards she was completely dead in the water for a long while due to massive cooldowns. I could still smash a lot with her that way but it was very dependent on my enemies being idiots so I could ambush them over and over. It didn't feel very viable so eventually I quit her in dissapointment.
Afterwards I keep getting these urges to go back to her and try to play her differently. I did search for different playstyles while she was free, but I couldn't really find any. The only theory I've found is focusing more on Frost bolt and blizzard at long range as a long-range fire support rather than as a burst assassin, but I'm unsure how viable that is.
Any ideas on how to play Jaina?
Just got my first hero to level 10.
