Really bummed that the new map is, once again, reusing assets... I was hoping Sky Temple was them going "We're gonna put more effort into map assets now!" But nope.

Valla is the fucking shit Multishot build literally fucks everything up Is strafe better in nearly every way? I feel like Rain would be good in some cases, but no idea if its ever really worth it. You have a good laning phase, since your lane pretty much doesn't die and you can harass well due to this. Throughout the rest of the game you do alright, but mostly just heal. Ability power + heal is amazing late game. It really gets good once you get 20 and get the kung fu trait for infinite ability power heals and ults.

If you have a team that can clump your enemies together then Rain may be better.

So apparently I have beta access for the game (had no idea until I went to go reinstall WC3:FT) Can somebody tell me if its worth taking a look at? I've played plenty of DOTA2/League before so I'm already acquainted with the moba genre.

I'd say yeah. The game puts you in action much quicker than other games since there's no "spend 10 minutes in lane to get your skills". You start out with all but your ultimate skill. Games tend to last 20-30 min which is pretty short compared to others. Since there's no items and no gold you don't have to focus on last-hitting or giving the kills to your carries, you can just swoop what you want and everyone gains on it. Also bonus points for having all the cool heroes from other Blizzard games.

This is the first moba style game that I've enjoyed enough to spend money on. 3 characters and a mount for $5 seemed like a good deal.

Has anyone here played LoL or Dota and like this better?

You can't complete with the best in the genre when Dota hands out all the characters for free and HotS charges for every one. That being said, comparing the games from an actual gameplay perspective? Jiggu's right.

He can push lanes he isn't even in with globe and his global passive. He can be an annoying son of a bitch to duel due to his laser (if he builds for it). He's pretty solid all around. Murky has been overnerfed and is in a pretty bad state at the moment. I do have to mention though there will be a patch this week so if anyone is thinking of buying any hero you might want to hold off for a few days. God only knows what balance changes heroes will get.

He isn't worth playing "for the challenge", he is just a shit hero right now that got nerfed last patch for zero God damn reason.
