Heroes of the Storm - It's like if Blizzard made Smash Bros. but not!

He looks like he does in WC3?
I think he's way too wide(something a lot of the heroes suffers from) and his face looks a lot more damaged than it did. He had wrinkles and stuff but he didn't look like a monster.
I would definitely agree that his proportions look really goofy, just like Arthas and a few others.
Everyone in HotS seems to be out of whack really, except for the smaller characters and female ones.
They recently thinned out Kerrigan and Jaina, both seemed a bit odd before that. Althought Jaina may have just had a new pose given to her

Blizzard has never been good at humanoid proportions.
Yeah but they should at least try to stay consistent

I mean, they've clearly always done stylized, cartoon proportions but HotS seems to exaggerate it further sometimes. No one really has scale in HotS, unlike say Dota which characters and big and small and it makes sense on screen. Everything is kinda the same size in HotS and it makes things look weird sometimes, like Hammer being super small in the tank.
Blizzard games never give a crap about scale. Its all supposed to be representative, not literal.
not bagging blizzards art, we're bagging the scaling of all heroes in hots, they fuck it up compared to their other games that set the initial model scaling.
Warcraft always had "weird" proportions and features, specially "muscular"/heavy armored characters, but that dreadlord Kael IS a little too much.
I fucking hate the new (ish) map. I remember begging RNG to give it to me just one time when it came out and now I absolutely dread seeing its loading screen. And I thought Haunted Mines was terrible for the initial swing.
Honestly I find most of the maps annoying/boring. Couldn't I just have a more traditional MOBA-style map without the base destruction gimmicks? (Dragon Knight, Garden Monster Thing, etc)
I mean.. if you wanted that why wouldnt you play any one of the droves currently flooding the market?
HotS at its core is fairly different from something like LoL or DOTA, it's quite refreshing to play.
I don't mean a map with a Baron or Roshan or anything like that, just one that doesn't have the gimmicky base destruction objective that every HotS map has, simply to give it some diversity. Every current map is basically the same, just re-textured. Even if I'm not a fan of the gameplay effects the Dragon Knight and co. have, I could tolerate it if they were broken up by something actually different. :v:
It's kind of amazing how one person playing badly can fuck up this game harder than it can in Dota. Skilled wrong in Dota? Works itself out over the course of the game. Skilled wrong in HotS? You are 100% fucked. I'm not even speaking solely about people I've seen, I did it earlier too, and there is just no way to correct it.
They really should give you a short time to switch a talent you picked wrong, lets say until you enter combat or a minimum of one minute or something
Or just allow you to queue talents, like pick them before you level up and it will automatically be picked.
Not sure I agree with that. Even when I misclick an important skill, it's generally not that bad. When your entire team goes to take down the boss and one dumbass decides to run off on his own into the other team near the end of the game (I'm talking like one fort for each team on Tomb), that's how badly one person can fuck up.

When I mentioned I screwed up my talents, as Illidan I accidentally picked Seasoned Marksman at level 1 on Dragon Shrine. Marksman isn't a bad talent, but you don't pick it on Dragon Shrine, and it totally killed my effectiveness for the entirety of the game because if you go Marksman, you also go Thirsting Blade. What I wanted to do what go Shadow Shield into Immolation, which would have let me get Siege camps at level 4. Can't do that with Marksman > Thirsting Blade.
So yeah, talents can't really screw you.
But yeah, some dick running off and doing something stupid also hurts your team.
If anyone has watched LoL streamers, I just played against chu8. We lost. Frankly it shows how fucky matchmaking is because I'm Rank 39 and he is Rank 1.
Why.

Never show fear, never stop pushing forward.
I don't get the hate for Arthas. In the right hands he's incredibly strong.

At rank 36~ if that matters
She's generally rather easy to play as well so her free weeks are a pain in the ass.
Nova and Zeratul free weeks are awful.
They had both at one time at one point.
