Heroes of the Storm - It's like if Blizzard made Smash Bros. but not! - Games

What the FUCK is up with those ETC buffs. The patch before this they removed Uther's ability to stun an entire team by just getting killed and walking into them, and now all of a sudden they take that, pump it full of steroids and slap it on ETC. Are there two different teams balancing this game or something? Diablo buffs are neat though.

I see that the same people who do bans are the same people who do bans for Dota and Smite. Say that your team is doing horrible, or that they used the DK like shit, and you're banned for 3 days. Fuck sake.

Anyone else getting really choppy performance recently? Even at low settings my framerate is incredibly low or has random drops. I've been fine playing on the medium preset at 1600x900 just fin until a few days ago. My laptop has a i7-4720HQ, 8GB of RAM, and a 2GB GTX 860M.

It actually prevents me from playing. It's like 30FPS sometimes.

The reason I quit playing Dota was because everyone complains and whines when stuff goes wrong and it completely ruins the fun of the game after a while. Playing this game, people rarely complain and you don't feel judged when you do something wrong. I played dota for 2000 hours and got sick of it simply because of this crap.

Maybe when the game fully releases, or a month or two after that when more people are playing.

Jaina is a hero I didn't think I'd like to play but actually love after playing a couple rounds with her. Think I'm going to have to pick her up after the free week. Super satisfying being able to just delete someone or slow the enough that they can't get away.

I'm really not digging Kael'thas. It feels like they're not even trying to make him true to the old games. His model is fucked up, his voice actor is not only wrong but they're not even trying to mimic him, his spell effects aren't even pretending to be what they are and they don't really feel interesting either. Nor did they bother to make his orbs rotate like they do in Wc3 (yes they rotate when he activates his passive but they're not doing it the 'right' way). Kael'thas isn't really the only problematic hero either, I feel like they're just thrown in a bunch of devs that haven't played or even researched the older games and now they're just loosely basing their stuff on the old games based on a couple of pictures from WoW.

I actually thought something was wrong with my sound when I first heard Kael's voice.

Probably working on Revengeance 2 or something

It doesn't feel like he's much based on WoW either, he's just wrong.

Is it true that if you're good you can win with any hero? I want to buy stitches but I heard he's bad and I don't want to waste my precious gold.

stitches is literally the only hero I ever use and I win like 90% of the time hes p good
