Think I'm going to play a couple bot TLV games then dive into quick match and see how I do. If I'm total shit at them I'll just go back to ranked for the week.

Buying Raynor for cash is an awful idea. He is only 2000 gold as is and is free every other week...

It'a not too bad if you get the $5 pack with him, muradin, malfurion, and a mount.

I like Reynor better than I do Valla. Also bought Li Li but can't really figure out how to play her.

You don't have to spend real money. You can just spend the gold that you get from matches.

I'm really finding myself annoyed whenever I'm up against Illidan. "WOO WHEE IM FLIPPING ALL OVER YOU I'VE GOT ALL MY HEALTH BACK WHEE".

Any tips and/or beginner guides for someone who has effectively no experience with lane control games? I tried Demigod for an hour back in 2009, and haven't tried DotA or LoL at all.

I used to wonder why he has one of the highest win rates in the game and then I bought him on sale and found out. It's more about zoning your opponent with well timed harass and capitalizing on that damage. The primary rule of HotS is if you win the objective, you'll win the game so that is the biggest focus.

If the map only has 2 lanes this is irrelevant though.

Open beta + being region locked in the southamerican servers is pure agony. Not so much for the new players as for the old players constantly bashing the new ones, going as far as to feed and go afk to "end faster". You need to grind quests religiously to get characters at an acceptable rate without spending money.

You also get gold after you achieve certain levels on characters, so playing characters on rotation is a good way to get free gold.

Every 2 lvl's I think.

His slow is decent, his damage output is alright, and his chain heal is good. He doesn't have much hp or mana problems once you get the regen in wolf form.
